Yes. I'm 99% sure the negative temperatures have finally killed one if not both of my batteries, as it would not start this morning. The "AUX" warning came on the dash a couple of weeks ago, and then start/stop quit working. I was able to jump start it with a jump box. I was procrastinating and...
Assuming I connected the small AUX battery's positive terminal to the main battery's positive terminal; just like in the Genesis video below (@19:40) - Would using a single Optima Yellow Top (w/NO AUX battery) be able to fill both starting and AUX (deep cycle) roles?
I see Genisis Offroad's...
My Jeep's (21 JLUR 2.0T non-eTorque) batteries died from the extreme cold, so Im going to have to replace one or both batteries. Im considering removing the small AUX battery (for ease of future maintenance/preventative maintenance) by connecting the AUX battery's positive cable to the main...
I was driving through Kansa the other day, and the strong cross winds appears to have pushed the flimsy OEM fender liner into my (37in milestar) tires at highway speeds. I didn't hear anything over the wind/road noise until I slowed down while exiting the highway. Thats when I heard the remains...
Does anyone know for certain what warranty covers the Rear Main seal repair?
My service advisor thought it was only covered by the 36k mile warranty, but said not to hold him to that... (ie. he didn't know) He only knew that it was covered this time. Which I'm getting close to 36k miles.
I'm...
Mine is also leaking, after 27K miles. I've been waiting for over a month for parts. Still waiting.. - https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/oil-leak-on-2021-2-0t-w-27k-miles.107729/page-2
My service advisor told me they've recently had 3 other 2.0 JLs in for rear main seal leakage...
Well the issue was diagnosed as a rear main seal on May the 2nd, and the parts were supposedly ordered then. Here it is June 6th, and per the dealer they are still waiting on the rear main seal part to be delivered. Not sure whats taking so long, but the leak is getting progressively worse as...
Welp, dealer's diagnosis is a rear main seal. My service advisor said they've had to do a couple of rear main seals on 2.0T engines, but no known TSB on the issue.
They've ordered in a rear main seal, and will schedule the service once parts are in. They've estimate ~5 day turn around. Talking...
☝If you look close enough, you can see a small drip of oil coming off the the lower (central) part of the engine block. (straight back from oil drain plug & in-between the 4 rubber grommets)
I recently dropped my Jeep off at the dealer. Hopefully the dye test will help them determine the leak's source. The "saturation" (as they've described it on the service order) on the back of the engine block and bell housing has gotten a little bit worse since my last dealer visit. But still no...
I second this. The controller is just tricking the throttle position sensor into thinking you're pressing the pedal harder than you really are. Just learn throttle control. Its free.
TLDR; No Regrets. IMO the 2.0T (non e-torque) is the engine to have. Over all other JL engine options.
I have a 2021 Rubicon JLU w/28,000 miles. I've driven it on multiple long distance road trips, and I off-road the heck out of it on a regular basis. I've taken it to multiple off-road parks...
I took it to the dealer, and they were unable to determine where its leaking from. The dealer cleaned up the surface area that had a small amount of "saturation" and added dye to the oil. They've told me to return once its leaking again. I will provide additional updates as they come.
I have just over 27k miles on my 2021 JLUR with the 2.0 turbo engine, and I've discovered what appears to be a small oil leak. However I'm unable to tell where its coming from. The oil appears on the bottom of where the transmission bell housing and engine mate up, and partially on the...
Greatly appreciate the link and Mopar part number - 68282134AE. (ordered.)
Mine has also broken after fully opening my tailgate on a fairly decent slope with a 37in tire attached.
I have a 21 JLUR 2.0 turbo w/8speed auto. Bought it new, and I've just rolled over to 10k miles. Only mod is a 2 in DyaTrac lift.
While I was wheeling in 4Lo the other day, I fully stopped and shifted from D-drive to P-park, and the transmission (I'm assuming) let out half a dozen clicks once...
