Mines a daily driver, weekend warrior and trailer tower. Only other vehicle I own is a motorcycle which Iām selling because honestly Iād rather just flip the top open and drive the jeep š¤·āāļø
For your short commute daily driver just mount the 35ā tires on the stock wheels, recalibrate the speedometer using a taser or JScan and enjoy the Jeep.
I daily drive 80-100 miles a day. I ran 37ās for 2 summers and am now down to 35ās. I wasnāt concerned about power or gearing as both felt fine. I wasnāt concerned about fuel economy or what gear my transmission was in as there wasnāt a noticeable difference between the 35ās and 37ās. What I...
Give the parts department this vin number and tell them you need the front and rear fenders for this Jeep and and plastic mounting clips that may be needed.
Tell your dealers to stop being useless asses.
Tell them you want stock OEM front and rear high clearance fenders from a 2018-2024 JL rubicon. Doesnāt matter if itās a 2 door or 4 door. They will come in either black or painted depending on how much you wanna spend.
You can also google...
Here is my advice which will differ from everyone elseās.
1st stop researching, overthinking and complicating things.
2nd get your Jeep and actually drive it stock and enjoy it. Get a feel for the handling (which you may not even like) before throwing money and parts at it
3rd get your...
There are a lot of variables at play here. How your Jeep was configured at factory and which springs were installed. How much weight you ride around with, accessories added, etc.
On a JLUR the general consensus is you can run a 35ā no issues and even at full stuff you may or may not just...
Step back and take a deep breath. Everything is fine. Your stuff will slowly come back from sitting and from ignition cycles.
I canāt even count how many times on my Ram or my Wrangler that Iāve lost backup cameras, radio functions, got a weird white and orange stripe across the screen...
315/70/17 Duratracs on stock rubi rims aired down to 18psi wheeling and no issues as of yet. I donāt know about going less psi because I havenāt needed to.
Forget about looking up vins, etc. Simply lift your hood, If you have an alternator sitting on top of the engine by your oil fill itās a regular ESS. If there is no alternator then itās an etorque.
If you push the button to disable the ESS on an etorque it will not shut off the engine at the stoplight but the rest will still function normal. The smoother shifts, the regenerative braking, etc all continue ti work.
I have the same ones and they look great, fit great, and work great but are rusting after only 12 months! I sanded down the rust areas and applied a coating of rocker guard to the steps and 2 months later the rust is appearing again. If I were to do it over again Iād still buy them but Iād...
First the dealer doesnāt know what they are talking about and thatās not the way ANY of the wrangler door locks work.
Second yours is the absolute lowest optioned Jeep you can buy so no it wonāt have the āluxuriesā of other vehicles.
Third as others have said itās possible that your...
Coming from a Rubicon owner if I were you I would put lockers and a manual sway bar disconnect on your Willyās and go out and rock the trails. Iād much rather have lockers and disconnects that I choose when and at what speed I can use them than to let the computer in the rubicon decide for me...
No because you will change out the normal 12v car battery under the hood just like any other battery. As for the 48v etorque battery under the Jeep it will be under warranty for longer than youāll likely own the Jeep and even after that you would probably take it to a shop to change it.
