2022 3.6L, manual transmission 2 door JL. Sitting on 13K mikes, put on aftermarket 17x9 wheels and 285/70/17 KO2's almost immediately.
I get a constant 17.5-18.5 mpg. I've been as high as 19.4, once.
I have a rattling/vibrating on the rear right side of my 2 door soft top. Seems like it's coming somewhere around the rollbar but I can't pinpoint it. Generally only bothers me until it gets up to speed 45+ MPH). It's annoying
I have the 2 door Jl with the standard 7" stereo unit. I tested the polarity of all of my speakers, all are at negative polarity (dont know what Jeep is thinking with this, but anyway).
I purchased the Infinity REF-3032CFX 3.5" speakers to replace my dash speakers. The instructions say attach...
Fair enough, but the 609c's sport a sensitivity rating of 92db, so I'm comfortable I'll get enough sound from the stock head unit. I see that the soundbar comes equipped with a 2.5 or 3.5" "tweeter" and 4" "woofer". Wondering if the separate crossover is unnecessary, since it's 1 connections...
I'm picking up Select Increments JLJT pods to put in 6.5" speakers in the soundbar. I've narrowed it down to the JBL GTO629 (coaxial speakers) and JBL GTO609C (component with separate tweeter).
Is the component possible on the standard non-Alpine system?
Awesome rig. I believe the Willy's have the same 3.45 gear ratio as the Sport (could be wrong though). Did you have to regear when you jumped up to the 315's?
I keeping hearing about negative polarity (on Google searches and a few YouTube videos). Should I NOT expect + to connect to +, and - to connect to -? I'm confused, I'm no pro, but installed door/trunk/dash speakers in the past and never ran into this?
Honestly I'd rather change my own oil. We got some free oil changes on our 4runner, they stripped 2 bolts and overtightened the drip bolt on the oil filter so.much, I still haven't been able to unscrew it.
Dealership service departments suck.
Even better, you cn by bypass itunes. Rip your CDs to your PC, then connect your phone to your PC via usb. Create a Music folder, either on your phones memory or on a micro SD card you can insert in your phone. To play music, you can use any one of a million music players on the Google play...
Glad to hear it, I agree with the OP. Towards the end of the '22 model year, it seemed most of what was available was some shade of grey.
The only colors I'd consider trading my snazzberry in for are punk'n and gecko.
Happens, I bought during the pandemic. Nothing on the lot, didn't realize you could negotiate on a factory order. First and last time paying sticker. So be it.
