    I know it's been a while, but thought I'd pop in to thank you again. That worked perfectly and I was able to hide the wires completely by cutting a little slot on each side of the sleeve and running my wire through it.

    I can barely see that part it's hidden behind the plastic. Maybe just a tiny bit of the cloth thing sticking out and everything else is wrapped tight tape.

    Mine actually doesn't have any black flex stuff going in. Seems to just be super tightly wrapped tape with a grommet or something going into the jeep just below the hinge. I took that taillight out hoping to access where that grommet is but can't see anything. Maybe need to figure out how to...
