Toyo AT3 - 285/75r17 for sale (brand new spare tire) - C Load. A little over 10k miles - rotated every 5k miles
Moved to a tire that better suited my on road needs, did not need the off road performance of the Toyo's.

I never said it was dangerous, I just said the difference between the At3’s and the stock sport altitude tires is night and day. A lot more confidence inspiring.
If you actually go farther into the Tire Rack results it says “Needs a substantial increase in wet traction”

Currently have a set of 285/75r17 Toyo AT3’s and they aren’t the best in the rain. Didn’t realize the difference until I drove another Jeep with all seasons. The difference in wet grip is pretty drastic.

I have 285/75/r17 on my stock carrier with no rubbing issues whatsoever - I did not air the spare down. I have heard others have had rubbing issues though.
Just finished installing the wipers and had the same problem USMCJL had. However, I bought some 5/16th vacuum tubing and bypassed the quick disconnect altogether. Photos below
