Bringing this old thread back to life. I just moved my rear camera into the Motobilt tire carrier and license plate relocation bracket and I'm getting the blue screen. Funny thing is, the front camera doesn't work either now. I can't even select it. Nothing happens when I push the button. I was...
Replying to my own post here. Now that I have the Redneck Ram and 40s/tons on my Jeep I wish I had kept the Apex kit to add to it as well. The Redneck Ram is not as smooth and powerful as a PSC kit. Perhaps with the addition of the power the Apex kit would have added it would be closer in...
Just a guess on my part but maybe they are making it smaller. There have been some people who have had a challenge getting it between their winch and radiator.
I had the Apex kit still in the box but sent it back to Northridge after I decided I needed hydro assist for the 40s. I called Redneck Ram and am going that route for my diesel. I was going to add the Apex kit to the Redneck Ram kit but was told it wasn't necessary. We'll see. If I have problems...
I guess I'm just stubborn but I decided to give it another go with the stock reservoir and I found a way to make it work - relatively easy, actually. Just shave the reservoir down in the areas in my photos and it will snug up tightly to the brake booster and the frame. I used a Dremel to do...
Not important at all if your tires don't hit the stock liners while wheeling. I'd have much preferred sticking with the stock liners but I don't want to lift the Jeep more to clear 40s just to keep the stock liners. I suppose one could always run linerless but then you'd just have an even...
Finally getting to this today. Don't order this reservoir. It won't fit. It's bigger than it looks in the photo. There is also no way for me to move the stock reservoir and make it fit with the American Adventure Labs inner liners I have. Glad the 2 QT is back in stock so I just ordered that...
Actually, I don't have a problem with Epic at all. They did a good job with the laser etched brackets. I doubt functionality is improved but the brackets are a nice touch. But when your Youtube shill starts deleting comments it just makes your product look bad, like you're hiding something.
I'm completely OK with Youtubers getting free stuff. I'm also OK with them pitching products they get for free. But don't be shady and block and delete comments just because someone said "hey, this isn't a new idea. It's a copycat". Now you've entered the realm of dishonesty.
@Casey250 posted a video today about a "new" product from Epic Adventure Outfitters. Only problem is, this isn't a new idea. Innovate AT Products has already been doing this for a while now. I have it in my JL and it works beautifully. It wired into my AUX4 switch with ease so I can sit in my...
Well I hope 68339096AB is the right part number for my September 21 Rubicon because they and Apex rapid deflators went into beadlocks yesterday. Unfortunately it will be a while before I know if they work since I'm still waiting on axles.
I've got 40s sitting in the garage waiting for axles to show up. I know it won't be nearly as good as the PSC system that was on my JK but I'm hoping it's better than nothing at all. Thanks again for the good info.
Perfect timing. I was searching for tips on installing this on a diesel. I've had this for a month or so now and still haven't installed it. I'm waiting on my Next Venture bumpers to be made so I can insure a proper fit. Any tips, or pics, you can offer will be greatly appreciated. I haven't...
Quadratec has a Warn Zeon 12-S in stock right now. I wish they had it a couple weeks ago. I ordered a Warn Zeon 10 from them and a Warn synthetic rope.
Sorry for the confusion. I decided to go 40 instead of 38. My Jeep is still stock. But sitting here waiting on axles to arrive gives me plenty of time to second guess my decision.
I've never met Brad but I'm sure he's a great guy. He seems like he would be. I don't fault him for anything he's done and have no criticisms either. He can do whatever he wants on his channel. And he has positioned it to be a "gentleman wheeler" channel for those who want to get out and explore...
