I'm pretty sure nobody bought their Wrangler 4xe (or any Jeep for that matter) thinking they were saving the earth by going PHEV. But at the end of the day, I can say the 4xe performance is awesome, and when the battery depletes, the 2.0L Turbo+ electric motor hybrid portion does a fantastic...
No, definitely not. For the same reason you should never idle a gas engine for long periods of time. You are better off plugging into a nearby 110 outlet or just driving it as a gas vehicle.
yeah, it does that in e-save mode. but it isn't very efficient, I'm sure charging it in this mode would take hundreds of miles. as with anything, there is a trade off I guess.
Not an accurate statement, once you drop below the 1%, the Jeep actively uses the ICE, plus Max Regen, plus braking to constantly keep it at that 15% mark, which shows >1% on the dash. You are always getting that electric motor assistance.
When I first got mine, I did everything I could to stay on battery and charge at every possible location, but over time, I started plug it in only at night and drive it like a normal vehicle. Still equates to filling up the gas tank every couple months. Occasionally, I have an extended highway...
I ordered the Mopar version. It came pretty much fully assembled. Just had to lift it over top of my Jeep and bolt it down. Also has Jeep branding and easter eggs.
Zero regrets.
Just remember it isn't a full EV. You will use the gas engine (it will force you eventually if you go too long)...but being in Florida is an ideal place to have this, you won't take the winter range hit the northern people experience. The battery is happy when it is warm.
I switch back and forth between my full and half doors a lot. Slapped these on both sets.

More expensive than what you linked, but they are high quality and felt the price was...
On the radio tab (AM/FM/USB, etc), you don't have SiriusXM or maybe SXM listed as an input? I'm sure Sirius wouldn't be too happy if Jeep is now selling vehicles w/o that antenna, even in a chip shortage situation.
A couple times a month I take a 100 mile one way trip. 85% highway (70'ish mph). I have a '22 4xe Sahara on Rubicon take-offs. Using the blended hybrid technique, I can get about 32-35mpg on that one way trip. Just depends on how hard and which way the wind is blowing.
If you aren't familiar...
