  1. Could not shift into park, towed to dealer. A rock was the cause.

Most likely was kicked up onto the trans and some how lodged itself in the shift rod area. Being that it’s a cable shift assembly not unheard of in the business.
  2. The ESS battery should have been bigger, much bigger?

Just going to post the same reply. Why Stellantis, reinvent the light bulb. Other mfg’s have easily done the stop/start thing with one battery. And then bury the sob in the hole under the main battery, really? Retired from a 54 year run as an automobile mechanic, typical engineering snafu.
  3. Your Best Pictures from your Home State / Province 🗺️

Nothing as dramatic as some of the previous posts, just a shot the other day of Lake Minsi here in Northeast Pa, 2 miles from my home. My go to place for coffee and contemplation few times a week.
  4. Clutch Recall (2/23/23): Clutch Pressure Plate May Overheat -- Affecting 70,000 Manual Jeep Wranglers and Gladiators

I’m with you. Have a 21 Sport S with only 5k on it and it’s working perfectly, yet I don’t want to be left out if down the road it acts up. Still not convinced they have the proper “fix” for it , reading everyone’s comments on here. On the fence.
  5. Failed emissions test o2 sensor not ready

O2 sensors and secondary air system always the last readiness monitor to set themselves. Once had a customer with a Huyndai Santa Fe, had to drive it over 1k before was ready for etest. If you have correct software can be prompted but usually must be model specific.
  6. So do we just ignore how bad the jeeps ride??

All part of the Jeep lore, firm solid ride, actually rides better sometimes than my R-Line VW. Nothing cushy about it, wouldn’t want it to be. All good!
  7. This is what perseverance looks like while working on a Jeep. What's your story of "this should be a quick fix"....NOT

That’s me to a “t”. 50 plus years in the automotive business so most of that comes natural. Get me into a 20 minute home repair and it’ll take a day,or more . Frustrating but you have to laugh.
  8. Base Jeeps are at their cheapest point ever?

3.6 six speed manual. My 21 Sport S, yes it’s an S but I only paid 36k for it. Wanted power windows. Updated tires and rims. In the summer the tops off, fair weather street Jeep. Plenty of torque being a 2dr.
  9. STING GRAY Wrangler JL Club

My 2021 JL Sport S , upgraded my tires and wheels to a 265/70/17 BFG KO2 with earlier style Mopar wheels. Little higher, little wider. Went conservative as it’s still only a street Jeep. Great driver though, 3.6, six speed manual, lot of fun!
  10. Vintage Jeep Renegade Graphics

    Look authentic, good job!
  11. New Wrangler - Electrical is going Total Wackadoodle

One has to wonder how long these 6sd JL’s sat around waiting for the clutch fix. Batteries sitting without a tender will go bad quickly.
  12. Vintage Jeep Renegade Graphics

My first, 1978 Renegade Levi Edition
  13. Jeep Resale. Not what it used to be.

Agree with you, I think the 3d screens popping out of the dash are hideous. Part of the reason I bought my 24 Tiguan is the 25 VW refresh is also including that damn 3d screen in their updates. Got to be this new generation of engineers. They grew up with laptops I guess. Give me a tach and a...
  14. Jeep Resale. Not what it used to be.

Coolant leak, missing pixel, steering pull were definitely warranty items that should’ve been addressed by your dealer. If you didn’t rip them hard enough that’s too bad. 42 grand and I’d be screaming till they drug me out of there. Wondering if you really just didn’t like that refreshed 2024...

  17. Picking (update: picked) up my 6th Jeep tomorrow - My Jeep Ownership History. What's yours?

I think I’ve posted these before under another subject but here’s mine. 78 CJ7 Wrangler Levi Edition 84 TJ Sport 21 JL Sport S Got married in my CJ, drove the wheels off of it. Bought the 04 in 2014 after selling the CJ. Sold the 04 in 2018 to a friend, very unhappy without a Jeep in our lives...
