My 2021 (see profile pic) has Rough Country 94 wheels, -12mm offset with 33x12.5x20 Kenda RT tires. No lift. Had to trim just a little plastic off the front wheel wells. Tires are outside the fenders around 2".
That's old information. Current schedule is:
Recall Schedule : Description of Recall Schedule : **09/12/2023: FCA US will notify dealers and begin notifying owners, in phases, starting with the 2023 model year vehicles on or about 11/30/2023, 12/19/2023 for 2018 model year vehicles, 04/18/2024...
True. They are also not supposed to explode though; and this is the third recall for the same clutch issue. I think that's the point of the suit. There is no faith in the issue being solved with this attempt. I don't think we will be any worse off if the suit is decided in favor of the class.
I have an Infiniti QX60 and there was a class action on the cvt transmission. It resulted in the warranty being extended and reimbursement if you had already had the transmission repaired or replaced. Yes, the attorneys want to get paid and will.
Maybe a warranty, on the clutch or an extended warranty on the clutch and transmission? You know, the clutch is not covered under the warranty! It's considered a wear item similar to brakes.
Picked it up yesterday! New wheels/tires on Saturday!
FYI, my sticker is $500 more than my order sheet. Dealer said they have priced order protection from FCA and I paid what my order sheet said. If your dealer is charging you the sticker over your order price, they may very well be...
