  1. S&B Hood Scoops

I have them and have posted on them before. I recommend them, they do work. I would also recommend removing the engine cover and installling inner fender with vents. I use the motobilt version. you will need to relocate the washer fluid tank. plenty of posts on that. I drive in the rain and with...

  5. Plastic Bag(?) in Passenger Footwell

just a guess but if it has a clear tube connected to it then it is most likely part of the air bag system. I believe it is the Sodium azide discharge collection point if the air bag goes off. there are bags just like that under your seats as well. if you have ever removed your seat you may have...

  8. Ecodiesel Eco-nomics & Issues

no concerns at all. I river cross and take it through car washes. the engine can get wet. its no different then driving in a rain storm an water kicking up into it. the kit does come with rubber inserts to plug the holes if you are driving in severe conditions such as a snow storm.
  9. Ecodiesel Eco-nomics & Issues

this post went a little south so I am not wanting to fire anything back up. For the OP concerns and the few worried about overheating this is my take. fuel prices are varied by locations. for example where I am diesel is cheaper so no real advantage the oil change price concern is not being...
  10. Diesel Lift Kit?

they ride very well. I cane off a pair of king 2.5 resis that were too short. I played with the settings for a couple weeks before I settled on 6 high 5 low. Yes you can tell the difference in just adjusting the low a click or two. I do wish they were as easy to adjust as the falcons, it can be...
  11. Diesel Lift Kit?

yea no 10 full turns as it stated on the sticker. I had them on my 18 great shock but they are a needle valve shock and missing this step will cause them too ride hard. I will admit there pdf online is not clear. do what you need to do just giving my experience with them.
  12. Diesel Lift Kit?

which is why I went straight to the 4.5 springs. settled in nicely. I will be happy when they release there 4.5 for the rear. I run 12.5inch fox shocks and at full drop the spring is still firmly planted.
  13. Diesel Lift Kit?

did you turn the shock shaft 10 turns counter clockwise before installing as instructed. most people mis this step.
  14. Diesel Lift Kit?

number of issues but the main issues are the front springs they say are for the diesel, bind up. what I mean by that is the center of the spring does not compress enough and it causes the spring to bow in the middle hitting the frame and and deflecting off the bump stop perch causing one hell...
  15. Water in Fuel experience

drain the separator every oil change. Most important part is get your diesel at a location that is frequently used. Some smaller locations don't move enough product and don't keep there filters clean at the pump. Filter change by the manual but I tend gauge this by how dirty the filter is and...
  16. Diesel in snow problems- Update 1/27/22 Page 12.

not sure if you were being sarcastic but you do know the washer fluid is on the frame rail on the bottom of the front fender on the diesel not on top of the motor by the radiator of the 3.6. Second to say the 3.6 puts out more heat then the 3.0, well I do not know what to say to that.
  17. Diesel Lift Kit?

I run their 4.5 diesel springs in the front. I am currently waiting for the rears to be available. I am running the Evo 4.5 rear while I wait. I replaced the front that was also evo. Can't say enough good things about the Rock Krawler setup.... Can't say enough bad things about the Evo setup...
  18. Diesel in snow problems- Update 1/27/22 Page 12.

I mad a similar comment a few pages back. again you replied the same as you did with my comment. the air box is full of snow and no filter is present. please explain the picture. was there snow as pictured in the airbox after you removed the filter. If so then snow did make it to the engine...
