I swapped my 255/75r17's with 275/70R17 Falkens on stock rims. Not even close to rubbing even at full lock.

I test drove both the 2.0 and 3.6 back to back before I ordered. I really thought I would enjoy the 2.0 more, plus it would save me a few $$ vs the etorque auto. I logged in for tech stripper...only got a thumbnail for overpriced blowup doll. To answer OP though, I ordered my Willys with the least amount of tech I could. Only power doors/windows. I did get the 7" screen that came with the package but really only for the Alpine upgrade.

I got lucky. Ordered a 2dr HT Willys 08/04 and drove it off the lot 09/02. I live in Northeast OH about a stone throw from Toledo, but even the dealership said it was unusually fast. They must have been running 2drs on the line at the time.
