They had already gone pretty stupid! Different ECU's scattered throughout the thing... Every system has their own instead of a whole-vehicle BCM. One for the power windows, one for the power seats, and so on. The cool thing is the aluminum body panels just unbolt. I got sick of my leaky...
My last Jeep, a JLR, was my 16th, and probably last for a while. I love the advances theyāve made with the platform, but not enough to pay that much for a Jeep. Currently enjoying a major change in paceā¦
1991 Range Rover Classic with a 2ā OME lift, ARB front bumper and 265/75R16 KM3s.

I had the same issue with my JL. My JLR was Jeep #16 in 30 years of driving. Stupid money to pay for something I just didnāt love.
Currently driving a ā91 Range Rover Classic. It needs stuff, but the damn thing puts a smile on my face whenever I look at it. And only JL parts could make a RRC...
Sold my JL a few months back and just came across this. I never had any issues with it, and liked the convenience. I had the JL for less than a year, so this is probably had 9-10 months of use.
Paid $99. I see other adapters for between $60 and $100 on Amazon.
Asking $40 shipped...
I donāt know that I agree. I think the term death wobble gets thrown around a lot by people who have never truly experienced it. I remember back in the Jeeps Unlimited forum days someone summed it up best⦠āItās not death wobble if you didnāt s#!t your pants.ā If you didnāt almost lose a finger...
Title says it all. Security Gateway Cable + Vgate MC+
Sold the JL. Donāt need this anymore. Used it with the JScan app. Worked great⦠from their recommended components list.
$25 in a flat rate box.
I saw a petty big drop in mine from most places late summer. Luckily I was able to find a local dealer who came up considerably from the KBB cash offer and I was able to move on. It's still sitting on their lot 6 weeks later, so I think I was able to get out just in time.
The Chief package (pictured) JK was available in Chief, Gobi and Rhino. So that's Gobi.
JK tan colors were Sahara Tan (late 2011/early 2012), Dune (2013 & 2014), Mojave Sand (2016) and Gobi (2017 & 2018).
Interestingly enough, Sahara Tan was discontinued in 2011 because one of the pigments...
My JLR was much-improved with the non-XR 392 Fox shocks. When I was selling it, more than one person commented on how much better it drove than ones with the stock Rubicon shocks.
I missed earlier in the thread where you said the 22's were up yet with KBB. I guess that just means a bunch of driving to individual dealers. The one that came in highest for mine was the used car location of a local high-volume Ford dealer... Not who I expected would be in the mix. But they...
I just went through selling my JLR. I checked out the KBB instant cash offers and it was too low... a non-starter. When dealers started reaching out, I told them where I was at, and while most didn't seem interested in moving, one did. I stopped in and I was able to get what I needed to feel...
Jeeps are too reliable. Thatās why I sold my JLR and got thisā¦
Why modify things for fun and improved performance when you can spend all your time, effort and money just keeping it going?
Edit: Updated with my new KM3's. It's crazy having a vehicle where 32's look big again!
I bought a pair of 3/4" rear spacers for my JLR to eliminate the reverse rake. Sold the Jeep before I could install them. NIB.

I can get some pictures later this week if anyone wants them.

Selling my set of (4) BORA 1.25" Wheel Spacers. Ran them for about 500 miles and didn't care for the look, so I pulled them. I have since sold the Jeep.
Work great with factory wheels. The factory studs comfortably fit within the pockets on the back of the wheels.
I did lose one lug nut...
Current plans are to put in the 3/4" rear coil spacers I picked up over the winter to level the Jeep out and eliminate the 2-door reverse rake. I'm also on the hunt for the right deal for a set of 35's.
Edit:
And just like that, shortest build thread ever.
Sold the Jeep yesterday. As much...
Finally, my small cosmetic change. I added a custom vent decal from Pixel Decals. I wanted the 1901 Maine state flag, and it came together just as I imagined, with the red Rubicon border, matte black background and the star and tree in gloss black.
This spring I added a hitch for my bike rack. I'll add the harness at a later date, just to have the flexibility to tow.
This summer I finally tired of the red-body Rubicon shocks. I hate them! They're too soft, and I was looking to firm things up on a budget. Picked up a set of 392...
Last fall I just did a few things.
Swapped in a Factor55 FlatLink and a satin black Mopar grille.
But more importantly, I tracked down a hard top. Living in Maine, it's nice to have. I tried and missed on a few local-ish deals, and then found one with a smashed rear window for $200. Picked...
