Yes, dealer did all the work. they put it as a cash sale and they sent the check to FCA for the truck and deducted that amount from the price i sold them the truck for. I forget the exact numbers, but i owed $35k on residual and remaining lease payments and sales tax, they offered me $40k for...
I sold my wife's Buick to Carvana last year. They showed up with a flatbed truck and I had a check in my hand for the full amount in about a week. Easy peasy.
With your lease they won't do it though. Just buy the lease out. Decline ALL options (gap, warranty, etc.) pay only your buy out amount...
Well, the Jeep has been sold. My wife literally cried when we were taking the plate off it, but it was her choice in the end. We went and bought new rear facing seats and the only way to fit them 3 across was to not use the secure latch system and have them all wedged against each other and...
^ we looked at a van yesterday for her. She has mostly made her decision. We are probably going to sell it.
The main issue is safety, 2 babies and 1 toddler inbetween them is not safe, period. The seats would all have to be touching and if she ever got T Boned it would be catastrophic. She's...
Well, got a sell only offer from a local CDJR dealer. $38k, I'm okay with that, was hoping to get $39 for it though. Not sure if we are going to take the offer or not, but leaning towards taking it. I told her to just keep the thing and I'll get her a mini van to drive when she has the kids and...
Well, we haven't made a decision yet, but wanted to get a number on the Jeep to see what makes the most sense. Anyone have an idea of what it's worth? 2019 JLU Sport, loaded. 7" screen, dual zone climate, 2.0 Etorque with 8spd. hard top with sunrider flip up and freedom hard panels. It's nearly...
^ very good info there. I hadn't thought about shimming the rear seat back. It's nice to see that 3 across does actually work. We have a graco baby seat and the 4ever seat for the bigger boy and that's part of our issue. That seat is massive. I think going to 3 new seats would be the best bet...
How do you like your '22 Yukon? I almost pulled the trigger on an SLT with the diesel, but I want to give it a few years to make sure all the bugs are worked out. My 2015 still has a lot of life left in it.
We just discussed that idea. Definitely not ideal, but it would keep the wrangler in the family and she could drive it when she won't have the kids still. I don't fit very well in the wrangler and she's not super comfortable driving my XL, but it's on the table right now. We started looking at...
This was very much unplanned, but a happy surprise for us. We are leaning towards keeping it, Just need to make sure it will work is all. I may go buy another baby seat this weekend and do a trial run.
So, wifey finally gets her dream wrangler. We have a 7 month old and a 4yr old at the moment and they fit fine in the back seat. I have a Yukon XL so we don't drive the jeep for long trips or for hauling anything really, it's just my wife's daily commuter. That said, we just found out she's...
I put Sahara wheels on my wife's sport mostly because I got a deal on them and partially because I think they look better being a little bigger. The distinction is that I did not change the badging to Sahara, that would just be dumb.
I'm all for modifications, even if just cosmetic. I also...
We had a 2018 cherokee before this wrangler, the factory wipers on that were terrible as well. replaced with 3 different and very expensive blade sets before getting the $6 cheapos at walmart, those were the best honestly. Swapped the blades on the wrangler at 18k miles with the same walmart $6...
Thanks for the replies so far. To clarify hers is a Sport, but came with a Sahara bumper, it needed tires so I procured a set of brand new Sahara take offs for it and now, other than the body colored fender flares, it looks like a Sahara. I wish it was my vehicle so I could continue to modify...
My wife's sport JLU has a Sahara bumper that the previous owner installed. Recently, she was rear ended and it cracked the back bumper and shifted it slightly, the front bumper already has a chunk out of it as well so I need to replace both now. My question is this, I found deals online for 2...
So basically, the $60k new toyota tundra doesn't have remote start. That would be my angle with the sales guy. Oh, its a subscription? So it doesn't have a key fob is what you're saying to me then? So a $60k plus vehicle doesn't have a key fob?
When they start with the subscription b.s. I'd...
My wife's Sport fit on a uhaul just fine, plenty of clearance. If the XR is over the 6'7" of width on the uhaul you can still make it work. The fender on the drivers side drops down completely so if you have to ride the rail on the drivers side it's fine to do so.
If you angle the headlights down a tiny bit then they don't blind anyone. Properly adjusted, they are no different than the factory LED lights. The problem is that when most people put brighter bulbs in they are angled way up.
I had a local dealer here charging a $3500 Protection package that was non removable. it consisted of NOTHING more than scotch guard, Undercoating, and a paint warranty. I'm sure they don't even do the undercoating or scotch guard and even if they do that costs a $100 max. They ended up loosing...
I wouldn't go with the LED package unless the $1500 is inconsequential to you. I added LED bulbs to wife's stock headlights / fogs and they are bright as heck. Cost me about $90 for headlights and fogs on Amazon and they are brighter than the factory LED setup. I do like the look of the factory...
