It happened on mine with engine off and in park.....I suspect mine is more than likely a vent door closing.
Weird I never heard it before.
At any rate, thanks for the prompt response. 👍
Can you share what brand Teflon spray you used please.
I think my issue is same as yours.
I spit on the shock piston just under the shock and it quieted down.
Having said that, I didn't think chemicals were supposed to be applied to the shock pistons.
Can anyone confirm?
So you have spoken with the dealer about this like you were thinking you needed to or not yet?
If not yet I would definitely be seeing at least the sales mgr. And I'd insist on a sit down with the dealership owner.
In my experience Sales mgrs. Don't like that.
Thanks for the education....like I said, new to Jeeps.
With jeep already having the reputation for small fuel tanks why in the world make it even smaller?
New to Jeeps and even newer to this forum however a couple things I understand Jeep improved on for 2018 JL is larger fuel tank, 8 speed trans (which eliminated the need for me to change axle and diff combo when I upgraded to bigger tire wheel package). Jeep also beefed up the rear gate hinges...
