I did check and also haven't messed with the vehicle at all since it is basically brand new. I am the original owner and bought it new last June and it only have 9k miles on it.
That is definitely one thing I planned to do but my concern was the difference in my issue from the OP given that my Jeep is overheating and not just leaking. My coolant temp climbs to about 230-235F
Is there an easy way to tell if it is maybe just the thermostat or the water pump? If it is possibly just a thermostat issue I would just buy the part myself and replace it instead of waiting 6+ weeks for the dealership to repair under warranty
Dang.. ok... Guess it is looking like something faulty on my Jeep then. And all the dealerships around me are at least 6 weeks out to even get me in for a diagnostics appointment. Looks like my Jeep will be getting parked for a couple months. Ouch!
I know this is an old post but I recently purchased a 2021 Rubicon 2.0L and just noticed some coolant leaking from the same spot as you mentioned. One thing I noticed is that my Jeep is running very hot as well and I was just curious if your Jeep was running hot while this issue was occurring or...
Thank you very much and as I have been reading and researching I definitely plan to look for a good local group to join and learn from and then mod as I go... if I mod at all. LOL! :)
Hello all! Just picked up my 2021 Rubicon 2.0L Turbo last night and just curious since this is my first Jeep what mods would be recommended for the occasional mountain trips up here in Colorado as well as keep some decent daily drivability. Given that it is the turbo, one thing I was thinking...
Hey all!! I just got home and found a Rubicon with the 2.0L turbo in it. I have to say that after driving it my wife and I really liked it so I decided not to wait and pulled the trigger on it. Dealership gave me a great deal as well so I couldn't say no. Sticker was almost $59k and I walked out...
That is awesome and congrats! And when you say "volume" sellers, where would I go to get a list of those to see if there is one near me? Or are you just meaning one of the sellers listed on Wrangler deals?
Ahh ok. Good to know. So the deals on Wrangler Deals are probably kind of a scam? Or was there some truth to those deals when the demand wasn't so high like it is currently? LOL
Thanks for the response and I have taken your advice. I downloaded the window sticker from the other dealership and sent an email to another dealership that is nearby that is showing on Wrangler Deals that they offer up to 5% off of invoice. I will give them a shot and see what kind of a deal...
Thanks all. I know I can get one a bit cheaper if I select a different engine but I am partial to the Diesel. I am tempted to respond to the salesman at the dealership and throw probably a crazy number like $55k and see what happens. Worse case he can tell me they can't get near that in which...
I contacted a local dealer and asked what their best price was for a Rubicon with the below options and they sent me back an offer for the exact window sticker price of $63,005 (which I already knew) and didn't take anything at all off. Curious what any of you on here go a similarly build Jeep...
Very nice and thank you all for the informative responses. My trade-off would be a bit more since the Sahara I am looking at would have the 3.0 Diesel so the axels and so other items would be a bit less than the 4xe or Rubicon so that is something I have to consider. I do live in Colorado so...
