  1. Rookie mistake, tried to remove body mount bolts on 2023 JL

Welcome to Fun City. Download the install instructions for RSE step-sliders. It has a fair how-to in loosening the body bolts. By far the best and easiest way to loosen is to heat the bolts - you can use a small torch (slow) or an inductive bolt heater (fast, best) which melts the factory...
  2. 392 Non-XR Actual Height?

Just measured my new '23 100% stock non-xr 392 (picked up last Saturday). I came up with 75" empty (no load/passengers) so the listed 74.5" sounds about right. Mighty tight fit in your parking garage and a definite no-fit if you play with tires or suspension.
  3. Stupid A$$ Auto Park is killing me!

A big shout out and Mahalo to Steve for posting his problem and to James for his seat belt extender solution. While I can't contribute to the current problem, I'm grateful it solved my auto park/bad language problem as It is a giant PITA. Moreover, having 3 grandkids and their respective car...

On the 392, the front apron tucks into the space between the...

I'm definitely interested in the hood lock for my 2021 JLUR 392. Add me to the list, please!
  6. Hinge Gate Reinforcement. Who went aftermarket on their 392?

The Mopar "reinforcement" is a very expensive add-on which pretty much reinforces the tailgate itself. I went with a Rugged Ridge (as they say) "HD Tire Carrier Hinge Casting" which replaces the entire hinge unit and supports the tire - the tailgate then just goes along for the ride. About $400...
  7. redline tuning hood struts

Just a quick FYI - Brian at Redline will be posting updated installation instructions specific to the 392 that detail both the ECU bracket and the washer/bracket issue on the driver's side.
