  1. Bilstien Shocks?

What is this wax product you speak of? I've often wondered if there's something other than the lanolin based liquid coatings. Thanks!
  2. So do we just ignore how bad the jeeps ride??

A little clarification: The son crushed his college experience and graduated on the Dean's list with a dual major. His mom and I were pretty damned proud of him, and felt he deserved high praise for his effort. He even lined up a new job before he was finished his last semester and was working...
  3. So do we just ignore how bad the jeeps ride??

That's interesting man. I'm in Massachusetts and he's driving with a failed inspection due to the stupid right rear LED taillight having a leak and the moisture frying the internal circuitry. The running light portion has been blown out for months. The factory (right rear) LED has been on...
  4. So do we just ignore how bad the jeeps ride??

Thanks for this reply. I was getting tired of reading all the ones bashing the OP. People are so petty, especially when coming from grown men and purported tough guys. My son's '18 JL UR has been a rough rider since we bought it 2 years ago with 47K miles, but my wife and I knew what he was in...
  5. So do we just ignore how bad the jeeps ride??

Maybe in a straight line on a flat road. Hit any corner at speed, especially with pavement joints, any drain cover etc and the comparison is over. There's no comparing ride and handling between a Wrangler and an RDX in overall ride and handling.
  6. So do we just ignore how bad the jeeps ride??

15 pages later.... post is still raging on. Cracks me up when people think they have that much influence.
  7. 25k on 3.6 and block is cracked!

Sorry bud I messed up, was corrected and I'm catching up with my own correction. Yes you should have a 5 year/60,000 mile powertrain warranty, as long at the engine in your Jeep is from the factory, not a replacement engine. I had been looking at replacement powertrain components category by...
  8. 25k on 3.6 and block is cracked!

Believe me I'm not at all trying to spread misinformation, and I apologize for having done so. Your reply had me going back to retrace my steps to figure out why even I found it crazy as I know my son's '18 JL Rubicon had a 5 year/60K mile powertrain warranty. Well, the Jeep.com website has...
  9. 25k on 3.6 and block is cracked!

I opened that PDF, and stopped looking after seeing the cover page. "Warranty Information - HYBRID" That's a different beast man.
  10. 25k on 3.6 and block is cracked!

I've replied to lots of messages on here, but saved this one for last. I'm sorry you're dealing with this crap. My reply is about the loaner situation. I went to the Mopar warranty site, and looked up the 2021 JL and perused the different warranty language they had in downloadable PDFs. I looked...
  11. 25k on 3.6 and block is cracked!

You and the OP (JeepinJason33) should compare notes on the precise locations of the cracks in your blocks. I'm very curious.
  12. 25k on 3.6 and block is cracked!

Ladas are always the star of the show on Russian dashcam crash videos. They slip and slide with locked up brakes and fold like an aluminum can at a frat party. It's modern entertainment watching people die, sadly.
  13. 25k on 3.6 and block is cracked!

You must have missed his message where he said he's not interested in a new Jeep as he's got tons of mods.
  14. 25k on 3.6 and block is cracked!

My son's '18 JL Rubicon has blisters of rust under the paint in about 8 different places... I boils my blood. I've watched Jeep factory build vids on YouTube and can understand why. They are very crude in how they handle the body prep and component installs prior to the paint shop. It's an...
  15. 25k on 3.6 and block is cracked!

You're the second person to mention 5 years for the warranty. What am I missing? This is for the 2021 JL. EDIT: I was corrected in a later message. This graphic is for Replacement Parts, not factory parts. Sorry folks.
  16. 25k on 3.6 and block is cracked!

Yeah I've driven Mazdas for 3 decades, and the past 2 decades Quirk Mazda in Quincy, MA has always given me a loaner, as did Gallery (now Prime) Mazda in Norwood, MA. I, too, feel spoiled, and when I bring my Lexus GS350 in for any type of maintenance, the first question is "Will you be waiting...
  17. 25k on 3.6 and block is cracked!

Not sure where you got that information, but I just was looking at the Mopar.com website and for a 2021 Wrangler the Powertrain Limited Warranty is 3 years/100,000 miles. I effed up and corrected myself on this in a later message. Sorry for that folks.
  18. Anyone know how to stop my fender from leaching this white stuff?

I've seen vids of guys using a torch to reset the finish on black plastic but I'm not so sure about this here. Maybe watch one of those and try it on an inconspicuous area? Can't hurt since the solution is pretty much free if it works. I've used trim black solution on my son's JL black trim...
  19. Is the LED headlight group worth $1495?

Guys like you crack me up. Come on here and give your idea of what the problem is for a problem you've never heard of. Jeezus. By the way, there's no damage, and what untimely repair? From what I've been able to tell, there's a hairline crack between the plastic castings that siphons rainwater...
  20. Is the LED headlight group worth $1495?

Do they accommodate the Blind Spot Detection module? My son's Jeep has that. It's that black plastic bubble that bulges out the side of the lamps.
