It accelerates quickly, tracks well, feels fine on the highway, and I get about 21-22 all electric, depending on speed and if I am running heat/ac. I never drove it with the stock tires, so I really can't make a comparison to them.
I am sure you probably meant carbon dioxide, but even if you spelled it correctly you would still be wrong. Carbon monoxide is known as the silent killer, not to be confused with methane, which is sometimes known as the silent but deadly. Be careful out there.
Yes, and those instructions are for a vehicle equipped with an off-road + button, which the 4xe Rubicon is not. From the 4xe manual:
This feature will only activate when the following
conditions are met:
Ignition in RUN position, vehicle in 4WD High.
The vehicle must be in OFF ROAD+ active...
If you turn off traction control and stability control on the 4xe, will it then allow you to lock the rear diff in 4 HI? I'll have to give that a shot tomorrow.
As far as I know, fast moving air has lower pressure than slow moving air. If you have ever seen an old jeep driving down the road with a soft top, or even a bikini top, it looks like it is puffed up. This is because the fast moving air outside the vehicle or over the top of the vehicle has...
I have been doing some research on the Mopar 4xe lift, and it seems that those who have Sahara models achieve more net lift than those with Rubicons. The lift kit part number is exactly the same for the Sahara and the Rubicon, and since the Rubicon comes standard with more lift than a Sahara, it...
I'll add my order to the all weather floor mat stats: I ordered on 21 July and took delivery this past Wednesday, exactly 14 weeks. My order included the all weather floor mats, and they were not cancelled. I installed them yesterday. Maybe one benefit of the order taking so long to come it is...
That might take a couple weeks to figure out. I have only had the Jeep a couple days, so I will have to do some testing on the electric range. I don't know what it looked like with the factory tires, or what the range might have been with the 33's since the 35's were installed prior to delivery...
That is why I decided against the MOPAR lift. I am waiting on some of the major manufacturers to come out with compatible lift systems for the 4xe. I went ahead with the tires though, since the 4xe comes with about an extra inch of lift anyway (according to many owners). I'll look at lifts again...
I just tried to check my status on Jeep Chat and the representative said that their system was down for an update. Hopefully they will have some better information once the system update is complete. They said it would be about an hour.
I bought a Tacoma TRD Offroad last September, not because I'm a big fan, but because it could tow a 4500 lb trailer (supposedly), and still be under 10000lb CGWR. Anyway, I say supposedly because the tow rating for the Tacoma might work on paper, but not in reality. That truck is severely...
