  1. 2021 JLUR - Nacho Honey Badger Build

We have been wanting to upgrade the MetalCloak Rocksport Shocks from our 3.5” Gamechanger to an adjustable shock kit because of how often we change our setup from fully loaded overlanding gears to fully naked and daily driving. After extensive research, Teraflex Falcon SP2 3.3 Fast Adjust...

    Thank you so much!
  3. 2021 JLUR - Nacho Honey Badger Build

We were trying to figure out the best way to install the ICECO Fridge Slide to the back of our Jeep JL. Goose Gear Rear Plate System without the seat delete seems to be the best option with the least amount of work. We measured and drilled holes to install the wood inserts similar to the...
  4. 2021 JLUR - Nacho Honey Badger Build

I am quite a bit behind with posting our build. But here is one improvement we have made that is short and sweet, but might be very relevant for other JL owners who have installed a MetalCloak GameChanger lift. After installing the MetalCloak Jeep JL Wrangler 3.5" Game-Changer Suspension, we...
  5. 2021 JLUR - Nacho Honey Badger Build

Last year in November, we have started working on organizing and building our Jeep out for long overlanding trips. One of the main things we want to have is a good space organization solution that will allow us to have room for a portable fridge and other storage bins/duffle bags for supplies...

Thank you~ We put the yoga mat on the windshield and hood so she can easily get in and out of the tent without us carrying her up and down the stairs. She does not really walk around the hood. We pick her up and set her on the mat on the hood and she climbs into the tent. And then she goes out...

It is the Cupid Butane Heater by Kovea. A Korean company.

We had a fun Thanksgiving camping/overlanding trip in our iKamper Skycamp 2.0 around southern Utah and Moab. It was a bit cold for us, but we have acquired more winter camping ready stuff for more comfort to camp again in the snow and cold next week!

We ran into this issue and thanks to you sharing this, we found our little Plastic Fastener Removal Tool also does the job and packs relatively small to bring along.

LOOKS AMAZING! We are trying to get all the gear that we can research for winter camping next 1.5 weeks, hopefully we survive our first time winter camping in the snow this Christmas and New Year!
  11. Install question: Rhino rack backbone (RJLB1) an pioneer platform rack (52108F) installed using RCL6 legs

Hi Kat, We never remove the locator tabs on the legs before installing and the legs went on the install just fine. We have a JL and we got the 6 RCH Locking Legs for our install, and recently changed the legs to their Quick Mount Legs for easily removing the Pioneer Platform from our roof. So...
  12. Diesel Build - 2020 Sting-Gray JLURD

No, since the MC instruction did not include e-brake adjustments. We ended up fishing the e-brake lines back and under the bar they were mounted above. Now we have quite a bit of slack and the e-brake feels soft/too easy to pull. Will definitely take a look at what you described here! Thanks!
  13. Diesel Build - 2020 Sting-Gray JLURD

We almost got done installing Metalcloack 3.5” Gamechanger this weekend, and could not finish because our e-brake cable was too tight to hook back up to the driver side wheel! I am gonna look into this synergy emergency brake cable bracket!

It is the Slumberjack Roadhouse Tarp/canopy. Once you get a hang on the setup, it is awesome. You can have 3 different configurations and it withstood the strong winds well the night we camped. https://slumberjack.com/roadhouse-tarp/
  15. 18 or 17 inch Rims with 35s no Lift post your pictures

We loved the look of our 2021 JLUR with stock lift and 35 Falken Mud tires with 17 KMC wheels. I recommend replacing stock fender flares with thinner ones and fender well liners that go further in so you get less rubbing we replaced our stock fender flares with Paramount Automotive Hydro Series...

Last weekend, we arrived at our camp spot in the dark on a muddy trail south of Flagstaff and woke up to an amazing view. We prefer to sleep in our Jeep using the Deep Sleep air mattress instead of using a roof top tent, so we try to pack minimally. Still working out all the things to bring/not...
  17. 2021 JLUR - Nacho Honey Badger Build

The month of June, we picked up a Smittybilt 77806 XRC GEN1 Front Bumper and installed it. Then pulled the Smittybilt winch from our Chevy Colorado to put on. It took me a couple of hours, since it is my first time removing and installing decal, I removed the Rubicon decals and replaced with...
  18. 2021 JLUR - Nacho Honey Badger Build

First few mods we did were adding the Quadratec QRC Side Armor with Step and Body Armor 5146 Hinge Steps to the two doors in the back. Putting in the hood mount for the Hi-Lift Jack. On the same weekend, we also installed the Rhino-Rack 72" x 56" Pioneer Platform with Backbone System & RCL...
  19. Show Off Your Scenic Jeep Photos

Took these at the original Rubicon Trail head in early July. We tried to get in further with our all stock setup, had to turnaround not too far into it. Will be back after some upgrades.
