As someone who works at a dealer, believe me, you DO NOT want to work directly with the manufacturer. It is a nightmare! Find a reasonable dealer, tell them no badges or branding, find a good salesperson who understands customer service AND the product (there are a lot of us out here), and...

82 years ago today this prototype vehicle was delivered to Camp Holabird, MA– September 23, 1940 – the undisputed 1st jeep! They DROVE(!) it from the American Bantam factory in Butler, PA leaving about 8am. They arrived at Camp Holabird at just after 4:30pm. No problem, 25 minutes to spare...
