  1. Big Bear forest closure

Thank you for the headsup. Good thing July is only 96 days away... Time to gear up.
  2. 2.0L coolant reservoir leaking

Just a suggestion... Get that looked at. The purple residue is dried coolant. Possibly the two halves of that reservoir are separating. I had mine replaced in Oct 2o22 did to cracking in the same area. I had to wait 2 weeks for part to arrive.
  3. Rear brake noise?

Nope, i didn't remove the rotor due to time constraints at that moment. As always, i got interrupted and rushed by the kid. Oh well. Glad it got resolved.
  4. Rear brake noise?

That was the one of the 1st things I checked when recently rotated tires. Springs and cable were connected correctly. I also took brakes down to the rotors, removing/reinstalling calipers. Still had noise after that. As luck would have it, the coolant reservoir ruptured, needing warranty...
  5. Rear brake noise?

Sorry for the delayed response... Yes, the squeak/rattle sounds appeared loudest when slowly creeping forwards/reverse(like when parking.) Also apparent when hitting small bumps/cracks/holes in the pavement while driving. Never bad enough for passengers to notice unless I mention it, but drove...
  6. Under $100 gifts for Jeepers

I apologize if I got a bunch of people all excited. Hopefully, they will still honor their offer on their homepage.
  7. Under $100 gifts for Jeepers

So weird.... Across the home page a minute ago, it looks like this
  8. Under $100 gifts for Jeepers

According to the website, Hikeit is still offering 40% their pedal controllers. I ordered one Thanksgiving weekend. Delivered for $102.
  9. 22 Willy 1.5" lift + 33" Ridge grapplers = not cutting it...

Yeah, thanks. That was another option as well, rubi springs. We are on 58/59 and 88/89 now.
  10. 22 Willy 1.5" lift + 33" Ridge grapplers = not cutting it...

Thank you for sharing that info. We have a '21 jlu willys sport. Stock rims and tires now. I was contemplating doing a similar spacer lift and running some 34s on stock rims. Hopefully the 34s will fill the increased wheel gap. I'll keep watching this thread and see what else is shared here.
  11. Rear brake noise?

Sadly, I am experiencing something similar, not quite as bad or loud. Only 12,000 miles on a stock '21 Willys. Ours is noisy on the driver's rear brakes. Began around 6,000 miles or so, ever so slightly and over time has progressively increased in volume. I had it checked out when they replaced...
  12. Weird engine noise from 2.0L I4?

We just crossed 12k on our 2.0L JLU Willys sport. Just for me, that startup would make me uncomfortable. But then again, I'm hypersensitive to all rattles/clunks/squeaks that are new. I agree with getting it checked before the warranty expires. If it gets diagnosed as nothing now and documented...
  13. 2.0L coolant reservoir leaking

Happy to say our Willys was returned to us last Thursday and no smell of coolant...yet. Hopefully, no leaks appear. Now to take it out and get it dirty before the rain.
  14. Retail price went up.... by a lot!

Well, I'm glad we have our '21 Willys Sport Unlimited 2.0L. Just need to get it dirty once that stupid leaking coolant reservoir is replaced by the dealer. The prices of these newer model years are mind boggling, making me want to get out in the dirt/rocks/trails even more than before.
  15. 2.0L coolant reservoir leaking

Update, The arrival of the replacement coolant reservoir has now been delayed till next Tuesday, Oct 25th.
  16. 2.0L coolant reservoir leaking

Update... Dropped the Jeep off at local dealer last Thursday. Yesterday, they finally had a tech come up with the same diagnosis as we can visually see. Now, I have to wait 3 days for the part to arrive. I'm gonna have to follow up to ensure they do a proper pressure check as well to ensure...
  17. What trim off roads the most!?

We took the stock willys out every other weekend locally till these stupid gas prices have stayed over $6. Definitely looking forward to getting it dirty again once we get it back from dealer, coolant reservoir cracked.
  18. Ceramic Vs. Regular Tint

We have 20% ceramic on the front to match the 50% ceramic applied over privacy glass. It's wonderful in the socal heat during the day. A little dark at night. Definitely cannot see occupants inside at night. UV protection with ceramic tint feels worlds better than regular tint. Well worth the...
