I wonder if the dealership will claim that you abused the jeep or because you bought tires that did not originally come with the car that they will not honor the warranty. BTW, is it 8 years from date of manufacture, delivery, or day you ordered....leap year included? :)

I have KO2 pressure about 33-35. It is not that the wheels do not stop...its more that the grip on the road is not that good. This is my first truck/jeep so I think I just have to be cautious.

I am used to sports cars that stop on a dime. I had to brake the other day and the JL kept going and going and going. I have 2021 JL 4 door Rubicon and I know it is a heavy truck. It came with stock tires. Any ideas what might be better... all terrain all season. I do easy off road trails...
I guess it would be fair to say the Jeep markets the Jeeps in abusive compromising positions....but if we find out you did that to your Jeep be advised you are sh*t out of luck when it comes to the warranty.

My wife has an X5 BMW and use to get 730-750 range on a full tank. Local gas station switched to Renewable Diesel 99 ...barely getting over 600 range. Any experience from diesel owners on this? Is California only going to provide this diesel?
Thanks

I am not saying this is THE way to do it....but. I jack close to the spring and place a stand there. Then I do the other side...another stand. Then I use the jack to take some of the stress from the sides by slightly jacking under the pumpkin. I do have 4 stands and 2 jacks with rubber pads...
WELL...finally happened. The back up lines disappeared. I am in not hurry to fix, so I will wait till something else pops up or with till an oil change.

Hi... 3000 miles on JLUR and appears ok. I think Jeep should have done something with the steering like a better damper and longer control arm, but they didn't and IMHO it one of the worse steering vehicles I have ever owned. Almost as bad as the 1960 Corvair I learned to drive in. The good...
Coming from an owner of Mercedes SL, Porsche 911, BMW, and Jaguar ... for me a Porsche 911. For her mid engine Porsche, or a BMW 435i cabriolet. I love my Jeep, but I have never been a fan of Corvettes. They are a dime a dozen where I live (snobby So Cal) and a European sports car adds a...
Something similar happened to my wife's 2017 X5 BMW diesel. Left up dead on the road in the middle of UTAH. The fuel pump disintegrated sending pieces from the tank to the injectors. Everything had to be replaced $15k job. BMW reimbursed us for the loaner and delivery of the X5 from Utah...
I did not know anything about etorque at the time I was looking for a Rubicon. My personal opinion is that the costs, complications, potential repairs in the future, battery replacement costs outways any benefits. I wanted a Rubicon 2021 and with limited supplies and reliability of the 3.6...
It would appear to me that with a gasket leak you would not be maintaining pressure in the cooling system thus you would run hot and overheat. You need to maintain the pressure to keep cool. When you sealed the leak in the gasket....the pressure was maintained and it ran cooler. What I do not...
New to the forum....still learning
Diesel too new on this car and the whole purpose is long range and great mpg. My wife's X5 diesel gets 31mpg and 750 mile range. So...no diesel on Jeep.
2.0 ...small and Turbo another thing to deal with.
392....too new. I try never to buy car that has less...
Hi
I am new here. I just went through the same process. I took the screw from the old stabilizer that goes through the hardware at the other end and used that one. It does not have the square but it is long enough to do the job.
