  4. AEV RX Bumper and Tire Carrier - My Installation Experience

Appreciate all the information here. I too plan on installing albeit hiring someone based on this thread. Any idea on a reasonable labor charge from a respectable shop? I’m going without the tire carrier. Per AEV “ If you do want to use the AEV Rear Bumper without our tire carrier, you will...
  5. AEV rear bumper with Jeep OEM tire carrier

This is on their web-site. “If you do want to use the AEV Rear Bumper without our tire carrier, you will need some sort of relocation kit to move the spare tire up and away from the bumper, such as the Mopar 82215355 spare tire relocation kit.”

  12. Quality of Backup Camera

This is what I mentioned in my previous post on this thread. It has been verified by more than a few sources that would know more than us.
  13. First Extreme Recon Edition Package Jeep JL Rubicon I’ve seen! - Added suspension + more pics

The 392 XR comes with an extra vacuum brake booster that is not on the standard 392. Another little nugget Scott Blum dropped on a Facebook group.
  14. Quality of Backup Camera

I don’t disagree. I think it has to do with uconnect 4. Think about it like an old tv with one hdmi input. You use to have to unplug your cable box and plug in say your PlayStation. I think that’s the issue here.
  15. Quality of Backup Camera

That was my logic as well. This came from an FCA rep.
  16. Quality of Backup Camera

It’s my understanding that if you add the front camera this now becomes the default hi res and the back up is downgraded as the system cannot run two hi res cameras. Apparently this will be solved with U5.
  17. Anyone running AEV Salta XR wheels for JL?

the more positive offset the less poke. Stock is around +44 so the + 25 would be the best. There are pics in this thread showing the +25 offset.

I’m not sure about the rubicon xr situation but it was confirmed that the 392 XR would sit at the same height as a 392 with 35’s. Same suspension height with tires changing the ride height.

What type of paint did you use? Any issues with smell/off-gas?
