I’m in the same boat as you. Just installed one at my folks place and it’s a total game changer. Just carefully read through the manual and lift it slowly. It’s completely nerve wracking at first but all good as long as you lift from the above describes points.

I think I supported mine at the frame-side lower control arm mount. It still allowed enough droop to swap out the springs. When you find a spot, lift it slightly and then give it a good shake to make sure it’s solid.

I don’t believe it was ever an option. I ordered it with a tan soft top but later learned that my local dealer had accidentally ordered a 2 door hard top in primer so I just rolled tan Monstaliner on it.

2.5” MC lift with 37” Geolandars. No regrets! Netted about 5” lift total and 3” with just the lift. Not too bad of an install either.

Ooh I hadn’t seen that bracket before, I think I might try to make something along those lines. I’ve also never seen this either, the guy at the welding supply store just told me that the tank had to be vertical when dispensing. I’ll have to do more research on the snorkel for sure!

I use my homemade CO2 tank set up to refill tires after wheeling, but still haven't found a great way to carry/mount it in the 2 door in a way that allows the soft top to open and close. I know this was 2 years ago, but super curious on how this trip went! I’m gonna be in that area in a week or two but wasn’t sure how my mostly stock JLR would do.
