I love the Ecodiesel engine, just check with your local regulations about what upgrades you can and can't do but some buds on the forums form Cali said it's limited due to the regulations. At worse you can for sure put the pedal commander which will wake up the throttle
The pedal commander really makes a difference on your throttle response, and the Banks CAI is the best in the market, both together will give you a whole new ride. And if you want more you can tune it to get the full feel but imo no need
From what I heard in cali due to the emissions restrictions you can't to the EGR delete for long term maintenance of the engine, and then there are issues with what Cold air intakes you can out due to CARB, and the same with what kind of exhaust upgrades you can do while still passing emissions...
I have experience with the Ecodiesel through a ram 1500 and imo unless you live in cali where they prevent you from doing ERG delete and all that you should definitely go with Ecodiesel. Your gonna have to dump like maybe 1.5k on a pedal commander, exhaust tune and EGR delete but it will be well...
Ok so I can say that the best intake I've had is the Banks intake for the 3.6 JLs, in terms of power it's a slight increase and it gives a really nice roar from the engine, it looks cool and sounds cool if your looking for that then I recommend getting one lol but for real gains you gotta do...
I got one for my wife's JL 2 weeks ago, imo it's the best intake in the market, bang for your buck and install was a breeze. As mentioned earlier in the thread it's not life changing upgrade in terms of HP but the added growl under the hood is awesome and you can feel a bit added power. I...
You know what I think I do have that, I have a unlimited Sahara high altitude I believe I can take off the front seat roof and not the back seat, ill test that out!
Danggggggg, ik the Ecodiesel for some reason is lacking aftermarket upgrades atm but hopefully by years end there will be some Cali approved upgrades! This is the Banks power I put on my wife's 3.6
That's good! Try to see if you can get away with a EGR delete and if not at least what you can upgrade to the exhaust and intake. If you can do exhaust, intake and tune it's a different beast believe me!
Yeah I got my wife he first jeep because just loved the looks, she's scared to even just take the top off nonetheless go mudding lol but tbh it drives beautifully on the city and highway, had a 1000 mile road trip and had zero complains, just the wind noise that we don't mind.
I'm trying to...
off the top of my head we did the EGR delete right away, always recommend that for any diesel for long term maintenance
we upgraded the downpipe and deleted the cats, didn't do a full exhaust although i wish he did imo would have provided more gains
upgraded to a cold air intake, my in-law went...
hey everyone, im new to forums this is my first one so excuse me if idk how to use this thing haha. my wife and i have alwyas been into cars and mods but are first time jeep owners and were curious what you guys recommend in terms of lift kits and tires/rims? we already got a CAI (Banks power...
hey, im not sure what aftermarket parts are available for the diesel Jeeps at this point but in my in-laws 2016 ram ecodiesel we did a bunch to wake up the engine if anyone is looking to get some more power/torque i can let you guys know what we did
