Not sure how Wranglers are consistently on top of lists for resale value if you read this article at face value. I will say though, dealer service can really be hit or miss depending on the dealer.
I don't mind that they tried to do an upsell, I get it, it's a business. But what they did was force me to sign something that said I was declining a $400 'scheduled service' and by doing so I would potentially void my factory warranty. They insisted this 'scheduled service' was from Mopar...
I just spoke with Mopar and Rosemary at Mopar said this declining this $400 service would not void my new car warranty so long as the oil service and tire rotation are done, and it is definitely not something Mopar / Stelantis is forcing the dealerships to put on the service agreements. So...
My change oil light went on at 7K miles (my Jeep was purchased new 11 months ago) so I took it to the dealer for my first Jeep Wave oil service and tire rotation. The dealer wanted me to also do (in addition to the Jeep Wave oil service and tire rotation) the first ‘scheduled maintenance’ at a...
I've gone to the dealer for my 2021 JL 7 inch (who said it was a uConnect/Carplay/iPhone IOS compatibility issue and to wait for the next update) - still waiting. I've spoken with Jeep and they also said there's nothing more they can do except wait for the next software update. Everything from...
The CarPlay audio clipping (after 20 minutes or so) is a known issue, but my dealer service department blamed it on only up to IOS 14.2 being supported by uConnect (IOS 14.6 is the latest version which most people probably are using). He also said an automatic over the air software update would...
I'm having this issue also. Center USB console, the CarPlay disconnects intermittently, dash USB console - no disconnect but after about 20 minutes or so, the music from my iPhone will start getting static here and there, like a bad recording or a loose connection.
Certainly very...
If anyone has a solution to this, please post. There is definitely an issue with the center armrest USB console and iPhones with uConnect on the JL - and after checking all the fuses and changing lighting cables, and what not, this is either a software issue or poor connectors for this USB #2...
Interesting, so it's an IOS/uConnect issue, but only with the center armrest USB console, not with the front dash USB console. I wonder why this would be the case. Hope there's a firmware update soon from Chrysler..
I'm having this issue as well, with my new 2021 JL - center console USB disconnects Apple CarPlay intermittently. The in-dash USB is fine, but I much prefer using the center console USB since it helps get the cables out of the way.
So reading the above, does this mean this is not a defect...
