That's called a combiner HUD. There's still practical limitations in how far up into the driver's field of view you could project the image. The further you get from the hinge point of the combiner, the more susceptible the image is to vibration. A shaky HUD image is highly distracting.

The actual charger is on the vehicle side - 240VAC is going directly into the 4xe AFAIK.

It doesn't make sense for both chargers to be exhibiting the same issue. Flashing Red indicates a "Recoverable Fault". I would suspect vehicle side as there's other examples of the Grizzl-e working perfectly well with a 4xe. I did the full installation myself and have encountered zero issues.

I just got my Grizzl-e Smart installed and running today. Self-installation and it appears to be working perfectly. I haven't connected the Wi-Fi, so it blinks blue/purple until it's plugged into the 4xe. It only takes about 5 seconds for the charger and vehicle to negotiate the connection...

It's the same as a Sahara/non-4xe JL. No blue stitching on 4xe when selecting the saddle leather option.
