Hey guys,
I don't plan on doing a lift or bigger tires. I feel the XR is perfect for my use. The only desire I have to mod is to make it even better than stock configuration.
Better ride quality on the street and since it's a 392 I actually use it more like a desert runner than a rock...
I used to have sports cars. I realized many times I'd pass up my car to take my wife's 21 willys sport 2.0 for a drive.
Pop the top and it was actually a pleasure to drive on road. I'd take it on the same roads and routes I took my cars on and had just as much fun if not more.
I sold my daily...
Not that it really NEEDS more power but we all know power mods are always fun to do!!
My friend has a TRX and with the supercharger there's obviously some really cool bolt on packages with upper and lower pulleys giving them a significant horsepower increase.
Our jeeps being NA don't have...
Hey guys,
I have a 21 Rubicon 392 - Last month or so I noticed the heat will just randomly go out for either 30 seconds or a minute. Today it seemed to do it for a bit longer and eventually came back on by itself again.
I made an appointment with the service center where I purchased the Jeep...
Debating on removing them but assuming will look weird with the 25 holes in the wheel lol
May test it this weekend but if anyone had a pic I'd appreciate that. I looked online and came up empty.
Hey guys,
So I know the wheels are not actually bead lock wheels but they say they are bead lock capable. Do those outer rims actually add any kind of benefit to the Jeep or is it mostly cosmetic?
Reason I am asking is I had my wheels powder coated today and I liked the look of the Jeep...
I am eventually going to need new tires. The stock C Rated 35's BFG K02's have done really well but of course doesn't hurt to research and get feedback from the experts.
Having a 392 I feel the BFG's actually do pretty well in the dry and have good grip on acceleration and handling a turn here...
Yes I know it's not a huge deal however I really like the look with the white letters out. I'm not interested in trying to add it via stickers or pen after the fact.
For my use the K02 seem to be a great mix. Relatively quiet and nice ride. Decently tough so not constantly getting flats...
Hey guys,
So I love almost everything about my baby but the seats.... it kinda feels like a park bech. They look ok but not really the most comfortable seats for long drives.
The only thing I'd like to keep is the heated seats function so if I replace them it would have to be with a set that...
Since I really like the K02s I was thinking of picking up a set of the 37s in C load for my 392.
Curious if any of you guys have made the swap and if so what other mods I may have to do to ensure it's done properly. Also how much slower did it feel after the swap. I'm sure they are heavier and...
My friend found a set of 18s off a Sahara JL for really cheap and was thinking about buying them to mount some Cooper Discovery 33s on his 2020 JL sport. It has 17s on it right now.
It's actually his wife's jeep so I don't think it will see any real off reading or major flexing. Do you guys...
Hey guys so I was thinking about doing one just for a little fun mod to do on a weekend.
I noticed there are many different brands and some are plug and play and some require cutting/splicing.
Just looking to get your opinions on which would be the best for quality and longevity.
Thanks !
So I love my Rubicon LOVE but there is one weird mystery noise that annoys the crap out of me. Not so much because of the noise itself ... it's a Jeep so some rattles and stuff like that is expected but I just cant figure it out.
It only seems to happen at highway speeds. It sounds like...
Well maybe not Jeeps. I think they say 4.5 but looking at this article I tried it today and it was 5.4 seconds twice.
Now worth noting it was almost 80 degrees. I had a full tank of gas. I had my brother as a passenger. Both of us are like 6'1 and 220lbs. Front windows down. Not the greatest...
Hey guys, was just looking for different opinions for the best 35 for my situation.
Not a major off roader. Will do some light trails but not a hard-core rock crawler. It's my daily driver and living in NJ it has to get through some deep snow/ slippery roads/ flooded roads and I also like some...
Hey guys so I love the jeep. Love the way it looks and rides.
BUTTTTT it's in our DNA. We must mod. The only thing I'd like a little more is a slightly wider stance. I want to keep the 35s but figured when I need new tires I can figure out what 35s I want and then a rim set up that would kick...
First I don't want a soft top. I like taking off the freedom panels but thought it would be cool if there was a really fast cover I can throw on when i'm at work or at a place I don't feel like putting the actual freedom panels back on.
The issue is everything I've seen that is basically...
I remember seeing somewhere on line a system that you essentially wheeled it under the top after removing the bolts and pulled down on a handle. This then lifted the top off and you could just leave it on that till it's time to put it back on. It had wheels also.
Anyone know what that one is...
Ok so I know this is very different for Jeeps - yes they are off road vehicles - Yes I'm a poser and all that blah blah
But here is the thing. While I would like to try some light trails or a little mud I bought my Jeep because I thought it's a fun drive, I like the open air and living in NJ I...
