So my 4xe Sahara arrived at Guption on Monday and should be ready for pickup by the weekend. I have to arrange shipping so I won't see it for another week though.
Wondering - who is the first of the Gorilla Glass bunch to take delivery? Has anyone taken delivery yet?
I’m in the same group. Delivery window if 7/26 - 8/4 and according to Jeep Chat and Gupton it’s on the way. Though neither gave me a more specific date.
The answer is always D).
Seriously though, believe it positive change. I'm sure your Jeep is making progress. They are not competent enough to have some sophisticated scheme of lying and deceiving specific customers based on actual interaction and reaction.
Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good, reasonably priced transportation company? My Wrangler 4XE is just about ready for pickup at Gupton (Gorilla Glass FTW!) and I don't have the time to go pick it up myself.
I'm in South Florida though I doubt the actual location matters...
I checked this morning and I can see a Monroney Sticker on cryptostickers now. Based on the guide in the forum here, that should mean my Wrangler is built I guess? I have a ship date of 7/26 so that would put it right on time. Suspicious but would be great if true.
Anyone else seen stickers yet...
The short (and sad) answer is we don't change Jeeps behavior. There is almost no incentive to them. Think about it economically: How much more money could Jeep possibly earn if they implemented a few million dollars worth of software and process improvements?
Their cars are already in high...
(Disclosure: I ordered my Jeep 5/22 and waiting. Don’t have another car. Spending $1,000+ on a rental car per month currently)
This May be an unpopular opinion but I think much of what we are seeing is the beauty of supply and demand in action. Free market economy at its best.
Jeep simply...
I assume this was on existing inventory? When I spoke with Mike about a month or so ago on factoring ordering, 4% under was the best he was willing to do. Not terrible but also a sold $2,000 worse than the 7-8% available elsewhere on a relatively loaded model.
P.S.: Purely personal opinion but...

Thank you so much for holding. I appreciate your patience. I am showing all of the materials needed to start the build process have been received. The vehicle should be entering the build process very soon. Currently no Dealer ETA has been provided.
Sahara 4xe w/ GG. Ordered...
I'm in Orlando and even though there are a few dealers here who are somewhat decent (Lakeland and also New Smyrna Beach), Gupton was still a $2,000 advantage hands down. That doesn't even account for the crazy additional fees.
I might end up having the car shipped down or make it a fun weekend...
Another here. 4xe Sahara with GG. Ordered 5/22. VON same day, got VIN something like 5/25. Waiting in D since. Dealer said he cannot update because VIN is assigned and I am not in a rush so waiting it out.
You are missing a few important numbers here to evaluate your deal. If you can post these, I'd be happy to help.
- What's your Money Factor (if you don't have this, we can back into it)
- What's included in the downplay? Just cap cost reduction or does that include acquisition fees, dealer...
nice. Exactly the same for me. Orlando area. Best local deal was ~4% under. Daniel at Gupton was my guy and I’m saving about $2,500 which pays for the trip and then some.
If you have the complete VON, simply go to the Jeep chat on their website and ask them to pull the VIN for you. If it's been assigned, they will give it to you.
That would be my hope/assumption. If there has been a VIN assigned between Sat 5/22 and now, it would mean that the process is running and it will be produced. That's just speculation though. Maybe it's really short notice and/or works completely different from what I am assuming...
Just ping...
I just chatted with Jeep customer service. My 4xe order from Saturday 5/23 is in scheduling and already has a VIN. Guessing the production line is still open.
If 4xe ordering is not available it must have happened just Monday. A reputable dealer can probably confirm.
