  1. 2021 JLUR speedometer calibration?

Hello, I've searched, and found mostly older threads. I'm looking for the best solution to recalibrate the speedometer in my 2021 JL Unlimited Rubicon as I just picked it up today after having 37's installed. I do have the 8.4 Premium Audio package, if that matters for anything. Talking to the...
  2. Mopar spare tire carrier/tailgate reinforcement questions

Thanks! Yeah, there are definitely better options out there than the Mopar. That said, this being a 2021, I decided to go that direction for the sake of warranty smoothness.
  3. 2021 closeouts must be happening

1- Because it is easy to make a deal when the trade is worth close to what it was new. 2- We'd rather sell a new and take in a retail trade than sell a new outright. It keeps the inventory flow going. 3- We need the used cars regardless, I'd rather take them in trade than buy them at auction-...
  4. 2021 closeouts must be happening

    Right, exactly. Inflation much?
  5. Mopar spare tire carrier/tailgate reinforcement questions

Thanks for the insight. I have a tough time coughing up for the huge money for an imperfect solution... but it's factory, so I'm still struggling.
  6. 2021 closeouts must be happening

I'm in the car business, it isn't the 2021 closeout deals, it is the lack of new vehicle inventory driving the used car market. The books have been climbing twice a month in response to the insanity that the auction has going on. Some used stuff is selling for more than new MSRP, no joke.
  7. Mopar spare tire carrier/tailgate reinforcement questions

Hello, A couple quick questions- First, Mopar lists in the description: Spare Tire Carrier mounts to the swing gate and is adjustable to hold non-production tires and wheels up to 37". Requires Tailgate Reinforcement System I'm not sold on the tailgate reinforcement being necessary, I am...
  8. AEV Borah- 8.5" wheel width?

Right- it does on the Mopar wheel, it’s 8” inside (non bead lock) and 8.5” outside (bead lock) so I had assumed it would be similar here. The main attraction for the Borah wheels is the 8.5” width- which I’m trying to get clarity on where it’s measured. I’ll just get the Mopars if it’s the same.
  9. Long term stock hinges/no reinforcements on JL's with large spares?

I've read mixed opinions. Probably am best off to order some sort of reinforcement/relocation combo I guess.
  10. AEV Borah- 8.5" wheel width?

OK, I've narrowed it down to two wheel choices, the AEV Borah and the Mopar Beadlock. In either case it would be run as a simulated beadlock. As of now, the Borah is getting the nod due to being an 8.5" width vs the 8" width of the Mopar (I'd prefer not to run into any issues getting tires...
  11. 37x12.50 AT options that are rated for snow/ice? (snowflake/mountain branded)?

Right. And the Patagonia's are like $500 less for a full set, so there is "that" also.
  12. 37x12.50 AT options that are rated for snow/ice? (snowflake/mountain branded)?

Thanks! I already ordered Milestar Patagonia's in 37x12.50R17, but I'm wondering if I should return them where they are still unmounted and order the Baja Boss AT's? 3 peak rated would be nice.
  13. Long term stock hinges/no reinforcements on JL's with large spares?

Hello, Weighing out my options. Just picked a 21 JLUR last week, Mopar lift is here waiting on install, 37x12.50R17 Patagonia's ordered, and about to order wheels (thinking Mopar bead lock's.) So, I've got to figure out how I want to mount the spare. It doesn't seem logical to me that the...
  14. Mopar Bead Lock wheel questions/discussion

Hello, I'm considering purchasing a set of Mopar Bead Lock wheels. I like the look of them the best out of everything I've looked at, and factory quality is tough to beat. So, some questions- 1: Initially what turned me off was the total cost of the wheel plus the ring, but I'm finding now...
  15. 37x12.50 AT options that are rated for snow/ice? (snowflake/mountain branded)?

For anyone curious, I ordered Patagonia's in a 37x12.50R17. If we run into traction issues, I'll mount up some studded Grabber's for the winter. -BM
  16. 37x12.50 AT options that are rated for snow/ice? (snowflake/mountain branded)?

Hello, I've decided to go with 37x12.50's on the new rig. Most likely 17" rims, but that's open for debate, as they haven't been ordered yet. I'm just curious, as I'm not finding many options in that size other than BFG KO2's- what have you all found for tires in that size for a true all...
  17. Just bought a 21 Rubicon Unlimited, ordered the Mopar 2" lift, overwhelmed with wheel and tire options

I see you guys so far are big on the 315’s or 35’s, I may still go that direction but I do really like the look with the 37’s!
  18. Just bought a 21 Rubicon Unlimited, ordered the Mopar 2" lift, overwhelmed with wheel and tire options

You guys are brutal! I'm pretty sure there are plenty of lifted Rubicon's on here that see only pavement. If it makes you feel better, I took the 4Runner 3 miles off road into my camp up north through 18" of snow?
