What Knuckles/ Steering Setup did you use?
  2. Broken Ring Gear

Learned a real lesson lol already had gears and axle on the way. Them rubi wheels you got look really good on the ole base model. Congrats.

  4. Broken Ring Gear

I would be in 5-6 gear and it drove fine for the time being until I got axles and gears. I didn’t want to put money into this 35 when I planned on throwing it out anyways. With the 2.0 it still would smoke regeared JKs so I was happy and I would get like 13 mpg at 65-70 after going above 80 it...
  5. Broken Ring Gear

    Also a JK chart…… I see you updated it….
  6. Broken Ring Gear

Interesting to see the rpm’s on a Highway lol seems stupid to go that high for some stock tires
  7. Broken Ring Gear

My goal was to ask a question and everyone needs to give their opinion on how it drives when that’s irrelevant. It drove very very good surprisingly enough. My plan was to always swap axles and go to 5.38s, just looks like I’m doing it now lmao.
  8. Broken Ring Gear

I have a 2019 Sahara Unlimited with 32k miles on it and I had the ring gear absolutely shred to pieces while driving on asphalt…..never off-roaded. I went to my local dealership and was told “any modifications void warranty,” and I said that’s not true, that you have to prove it, I found the act...
  9. Steering gear box TSB, am I screwed? Need advice.

Cause mine is making a clicking noise and didn't think anything of it until I read this, then I crawled under the jeep, and what do you know its coming directly from the box, I even have the synergy reinforcement and a tera flex stabilizer, and driving on 95 this past weekend was super scary...
  10. Steering gear box TSB, am I screwed? Need advice.

I know this was awhile ago, but did the new box fixing the clicking noise, I have the same issue as you, and bought the jeep with 45k miles...out of warranty, and @JeepCares doesn't want to budge on helping. Thanks
  11. Cutting Power To Ignition Coil without Cutting power to injectors.

Very true, and yes it started getting a little out of my experience level which would mean more $$ to pay someone to do it right. Maybe if I can find a 3.6 with no cats that sounds somewhat decent then I will take another crack at it, but until then I’m left with my beautiful quad tip custom...
  12. Cutting Power To Ignition Coil without Cutting power to injectors.

You exactly right, for show. I’ve never seen anyone stupid enough to take a shot so I was like might as well. Use the hotlicks kit. After realizing the work involved with the 3.6 and the down pipes sounding like a tin can driving down the road, which made no sense with how my jk had the same...
  13. Cutting Power To Ignition Coil without Cutting power to injectors.

I appreciate the response. I decided against it because the sound that engine produced when there were no cats was unbearable so I scratched the project. I have catless down pipes on my jk and didn’t sound half as bad as the jl with the same exhaust setup.
  14. Cutting Power To Ignition Coil without Cutting power to injectors.

8 sp auto, even 1 second would be good if that would be better.
  15. Cutting Power To Ignition Coil without Cutting power to injectors.

I was hoping I wouldn’t have to do that. It only needs to last for about 2-3 seconds then switch them back on.
  16. I'm trying to cut power to the spark plugs on the 3.6 pentastar while the motor is running

Have you heard of hotlicks? I might end up doing the safer more expensive route of tuning it.
