Thanks, when I search that part number it comes back with the shock itself. You had mentioned you ordered it directly from Bilstein? I can't seem to find a good USA phone number on them. Would you mind sharing how you contacted sales on these?
Just wanted to follow up and hopefully lead anyone who takes this pathway in the future to "water". These shocks work perfectly by swapping left and right in the front. Big shout out to @drtrdr85 for leading me to @rubistina who then answered my questions.
Maybe I can be of some help. I've been building rigs for SOME time now and found this stuff about 8-9 years ago that is great. It also is what I use to touch up powder coated parts and it looks indistinguishable. The ceramic and enamel make it pretty darn tough as well. Can be found at any of...
Looks like this isn't as simple as cutting off the brackets that come with the UD60 and putting in some tabs. There isn't any space with the coil pad in the way and it's already up against the C...
Interested to see what everyone comes up with. I may have my local shop fab something up for me being in this same situation as well as nowhere to put the remote reservoirs due to chopping off the horns.
What's your plan to fit the 42s in the wheel wells? My 40's rub with split Rubicon fenders (most clearance fender out there) and I had to cut some body in the rear to fit. If you can make them fit without losing all uptravel by just bumping the Jeep to hell, then I'll be going to 42s once my...
I'm running MC's 3.5 kit & agree that honestly there isn't need to spend so much money for so little gain. Your tire clearance gets you all the capability needed to handle the gnar. The mid arm system these JLs have coupled with what MC has put together really is a sweet package at a great...
Found another one. The caliper used on our axles is from a 2009 - 2017 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 as found on Downtofab's offering for the caliper: https://downtofab.com/products/spicer-10020911
Research shows from multiple sources that the torque on the caliper bolts is 275 ft lbs. One of those...
Hi guys,
I outfitted my 2021 JLUR with UD60s front and rear pretty much right off the lot (700 miles on the clock). She's about to hit 17k and I'm preparing for some maintenance on the axles as well as looking to have as much information available for reference should I need to perform any trail...
Hey I'm looking to have someone add billet half doors to their order in the PNW. What I get: the doors!
What you get: money you can bake into your loan for your first mods!
I'm out of Snohomish county in WA. Holler at me if interested.
The UD60 doesn't utilize the drop brackets that normally are run with the 3.5 GC. Does that change anything? Should I just put a tape on my current eye to eye measurement at ride height and report back? Would that tell us everything we need to know I'm guessing?
I'm running 40" tires & UD60 axles, so I'm already pretty heavily bumped to stop them from eating my Jeep when flexed out fully. I intend to setup hydraulic bumps at the same time as swapping in the FOX shocks. Good call though!
Hey guys, looking to replace my Metalcloak rocksports but don't want to lose travel. Anyone come out with an equivalent or better (outside of 6 pack...)? Northridge is claiming that the FOX 2.5 get 12 inches of travel but I don't remember them drooping near as much as the rocksport when I was...
