They do that (skip around VINS and go back to them later). At one point they were building VINs of 735 simultaneously with 260/261. Not all the 725 VINS from November orders have even been received yet.

You get a build date when it hits "D" and a ship date when it hits "D1". The build date often gets pushed back a few times and then eventually the "ship date in D1" is really your real "build date". I don't write the madness, just lived and learned it. Lol.

I've been reading all the forum messages, VINs, and definitely see a build pattern. They started building in March and delivered 1st orders in late March/early April. They started on earliest orders and also orders that were 4-8 weeks old. Instead of just building them from order order...

Congratulations. 3month wait is sooo fast compared to a lot of 8 and 9 month waits. They still have some Nov. 19th orders to get done. You are lucky!!! I just waited 6 months, lucky too.

Check the dealer site daily for new 392s. It will show up there when it has left the rail yard. You will see your VIN. It will disappear after you pick it up.

It will most likely get built on August 11th and ship a few days to 2 weeks after it's built. The estimated ship date has notably been the actual build date. I predict just a few more days to wait and it will exist... in Ohio.

I like the gold. It matches the hooks and badges better than the greyish wheels. Silver was trendy, then black... so the 392 and Recon are both standouts with new styles. Sorry you don't like them though...🤔

Jeep has been pretty consistent with the estimated "ship" date actually being the "build" date. I would guess it will be built on the 11th. Watch posts between now and then to see if shipping out is getting faster or people are still in 3 week hold after build (waiting for train).
