Pretty sure that's the kit I got. I had it ordered and installed through a buddies shop. I have had it on for 2 months with no problems at all. Didn't change the handling either.
Dude, I love all of your posts. It makes me happy to see some other Texans that aren't part of the redhat hive mind. I'm in Tyler but if there is ever a meet up in DFW, I'd love to shoot the shit with you.
You'll probably want to spring for the new tires. I just don't understand why they went with such a low profile tire for a jeep. The stock tires just seem so out of place, even for a jeep that will never get off pavement.
I put these on my 4xe Sahara: PATHFINDER AT 275 /60 R20 115T. I had them on my Ram 1500 hundred and only had about 4k miles on them. I had them swap at time of purchase. These are right about 33" and its perfect for me. I know I'm in the minority, but I actually love the 20"4xe rims. The stock...
I have the 4xe Sahara, which has the 20 inch rims and the tires I put one come out to 32-33ish. The 4xe sits about 1 inch higher than non-4xe. I put 1.5 inch Terraflex spacer lift and it looks great (to me.) So, if you like the look of mine, I'd recommend you go with a 2 or 2.5 inch spacer lift...
You might want to consider the market right now. You would likely get more for you Rubicon right now than you paid for it (the trade-in market is bonkers right now) plus the EV credits that total, I think $9500 in CA. You could very possibly upgrade and add a model year for no additional cost...
I had them add the premium soft top to the sale. Got them to knock $100 off the price of the top. I really like the soft top. Super easy to take down or put up. The new window (no zipper) system is very nice too.
Thanks so much. Let us know how it goes! I'm going to give it a shot too, but you will probably be done much sooner than me. I don't think I've seen any other 4xE owners do the mod.
Hi Dan,
Thank you for pointing me to the proximity lock thread. Could you tell me the part numbers you ordered for the wiring harness. The ones from the beginning of that thread show no fitment for 4xE but have other part numbers for the 4xE but there are 3 different options and I am not sure...
