I did get my 4xE Rubicon back this week. I was provided a very high milage loaner that smelled like smoke, but I soldiered though the 3 weeks.
When I picked up my 4xE I could tell it had been sitting outside for last 3 weeks and had layers of dirt on it. It was as dirty as I've seen it...
Yes, I think so, as long as you can show bill of sale then should get tax credit. If the dealer buys it back as a lemon, then I would think thatās the same as if you sold it or traded it. Should still get the tax credit. I need to ask my CPA because I could be headed there š
My 4xe rubicon is still at the dealer. Been over 2 weeks. Dealership doesnāt really know what to do it seems. Chrysler called me and said their engineers are working with dealership giving my 4xe a āwhite gloveā inspection to make sure they have found the problem that keeps triggering CEL. They...
Mine has still been at the dealer for a week. They said itās the battery coolant pump. No resolution in sight other than they āordered a new pumpā, but strangely, Chrysler isnāt releasing a new pump to the dealer yet my tech said. I wonder if Chrysler knows thereās a problem with all the pumps...
Took it back to dealer. This time code reader showed stored error for battery coolant pump. They reset it hoping it was just a stored error that needed reset because check engine light was going out then coming back on intermittently.
After reset it stayed off most of the day then came back on...
Another update - The check engine light went off. Then drove some more this afternoon and itās back on. Wondering if itās just bad or low octane gas? I havenāt had to fill it up yet.
Update - I took it to a Jeep dealer and they put their coder on it and it came back nothing. He said it's not giving any codes? So, I left because they couldn't look at it today anyway. Going to take it in Monday and leave it. Kind of hoping it resets itself over the weekend. Seems to be...
370 miles and my Rubicon 4xe check engine light just came on. If it is the battery cooling pump, is it even safe to drive if the battery can over heat? I would think this would have been what they tested the most before releasing. I guess Iāll take it in :(
