i've been trying to maximize the space inside my 4-door and have been looking for some DIY tricks that might give me some ideas. Does anyone have any space-saving suggestions for common items that people keep in the car?
I want to carry some basic safety tools (shovel, gas/water canisters, recovery boards) on the tire mount. Are there any products that attach to the existing tire mount for quick storage that is relatively affordable?
not sure if it’s stock or not. I just know if it comes with a hard top it’ll be white, which IMO only looks good with an all white wrangler. I’d imagine it wouldn’t be too hard. If I had the storage space I’d be in the market for a soft top.
The decals are cool and so is the stitching plus there arent many Islanders around where I live. The white top matches the rest of the vehicle (if it's white) which makes it look more premium IMO. The thing is though if you don't like the white top I'm sure you can find someone to buy/trade you...
Yup, windows are still accessible for thieves. Im not sure how much more often thieves break in via the soft top but I’d rather have to replace a window than the top.
Happened overnight. They were installing cameras on the lot after the incident. But I won’t be parking in an open lot overnight anymore.
haha, I wasn’t sure about them at first but they’re not as bad on Road as I thought they’d be.
I recently became the proud owner of a new 4cyl Islander. It took me awhile to come around to the all white but it’s grown on me and I’m now loving everything about it.
Since my apt complex didnt have gated parking available for me right away, I had to park in an open lot down the street...
Most of the drives in the summer would be camping trips, trips around town, and to visit family in another city. In the other seasons, it will just be errands around town and visiting family.
