  1. "Jeep's real customer base..." Article: How the Jeep Wrangler went from rock crawler to luxury SUV

Agree with many commenter here. The Wrangler didn't go from rock crawler to luxury SUV...it stayed as a rock crawler and started offering luxury to those who want that. Mercedes Benz started offering vehicles for the middle income class. It didn't become a low cost brand, it just offered that...
  2. "Jeep's real customer base..." Article: How the Jeep Wrangler went from rock crawler to luxury SUV

Just to give a perspective, 20 years ago, my 2003 Rubicon Tomb Raider edition (with red seat belts 😆) was the top of the line Wrangler. It was $29,xxx. People thought it was a ridiculous price at the time.
  3. Giveaway: Tozalazz 12V Dual Air Compressor - Win A Chance to Test for Free! (closed)

I have a Pittsburg portable compressor I bought a while back. "Upgraded" to an Air Armor M240 a few years ago. I would do comparisons between these two compressors, the Pittsburg, and the York belt-driven system i have in my older Wrangler rated at 9CFM. The M240 and this Tezalazz are priced...

  5. 392 XR Whoops! Overturned @ Cleghorn Trail [Recover Video Added]

I was thinking the same at that moment. I was saying to myself, "omg, I'm about to see someone dying in this video."
  6. Flush Mount Style LED Tail Lights for Jeep Wrangler JL

Ah I see. Thanks for clarifying. What I think of Oracle Lights' quality stands. I had them and was not impressed. Quality, maybe just like beauty, is in the eye if the beholder.
  7. Flush Mount Style LED Tail Lights for Jeep Wrangler JL

I agree with you regarding the looks of the Oracle lights. I've said it before, the look is great, but there is a lot to be desired when it comes to quality. I don't know where the lights are made. I am also aware great quality products can come from any country just like bad ones. Vinjet...
  8. Flush Mount Style LED Tail Lights for Jeep Wrangler JL

Hmm. So it can be done. Also something I like reading in the "about us" at Winjet: "In order to comply with safety regulations, all Winjet Group quality products are compliant with all applicable federal regulations, such as SAE and D.O.T.; as well as compliant to FMVSS No. 108. All products...
  9. Flush Mount Style LED Tail Lights for Jeep Wrangler JL

When I installed mine, I noticed the driver’s side fit well, while the passenger's side had a small gap between the top of the light and body of the Jeep (I should have taken pics to post). The gap was only visible upon close inspection, so I didn't think much of it. I didn't have my Jeep...
  10. Flush Mount Style LED Tail Lights for Jeep Wrangler JL

Got it. At least we can rule out the resistor being the cause of the flickering. It looks like a defective unit.
  11. Flush Mount Style LED Tail Lights for Jeep Wrangler JL

Can't tell from the picture, but is the resistor removed?
  12. Flush Mount Style LED Tail Lights for Jeep Wrangler JL

I watched that video. The problem I see with that fix, if I'm understanding what is being done correctly, is errors from the LED group will not be detected by the computer. So, if you have an actual error in any of the LED lights, the Jeep will not notify you. Again, I don't know if I'm...
  13. Flush Mount Style LED Tail Lights for Jeep Wrangler JL

This gives little hope to having flushed lights with a functioning BSM.
  14. Flush Mount Style LED Tail Lights for Jeep Wrangler JL

I wholeheartedly agree with you here. There are trade offs I am willing to accept, other trade offs I will not. I had them installed for about 2 weeks and really tried to ignore their issues. In the end, I decided to return them because the BSM light kept coming on when no cars were next to me...
  15. Flush Mount Style LED Tail Lights for Jeep Wrangler JL

I tried lifting the light to the point it would be at exactly the same angle as the OEM light's BSM. The Oracle lights would have to wrap around some more than they do to get the same degree of angle. I should have taken a picture showing that. Don't have the lights anymore.
  16. Flush Mount Style LED Tail Lights for Jeep Wrangler JL

During the removal, some of the screws would just turn freely. I had to push them up as I unscrewed them. Better quality would be an actual square nut.
  17. Flush Mount Style LED Tail Lights for Jeep Wrangler JL

In their defense, I assume they are making sure that is in fact the problem. It seems obvious to us (it took me a few seconds to realize the angle was not the same), but as they've stated before, they did a lot of research and testing. I believe that. Also in their defense, they've offered a...
  18. Flush Mount Style LED Tail Lights for Jeep Wrangler JL

I'm sure @ORACLElights is already thinking of a solution and is aware of the exact cause of the problem. I don’t see how making the BSM work without changing the degree will be possible. I agree with a previous poster, the angle is definitely not the same as OEM. I know it is difficult to...
  19. Flush Mount Style LED Tail Lights for Jeep Wrangler JL

If you have the LED and safety groups in your Jeep order, they will give you the errors. If you have the halogen lights and no BSM, they will work without issues.
