  1. Water trapped somewhere on front drivers side.

Well, if I could find a Jeep Dealership in my area that wouldn’t lie or take a lackadaisical effort at repair it would help. Most recently called a Jeep dealership an hour away that told me “based on the service history we can’t agree to look at it”. I’m absolutely shocked that a FCA franchise...
  2. Water trapped somewhere on front drivers side.

Both actually. I’ve had it sit for a day or two after a heavy rain and it will still pour out even after everything has dried out. Only thing I’ve added are those side rails and swapped out the rear bumper. Everything else is stock.
  3. Water trapped somewhere on front drivers side.

I’ve been fighting with Jeepcares and several dealerships since the beginning of July trying to get this issue resolved. Water is getting trapped somewhere on the front drivers side. As soon as the Jeep is leveled out, water literally pours out from the pinch seam. Two different Jeep “leak...
  4. Water trapped and dripping from pinch seam.

Lol, Right! In the words of the one shop manager. “It should be fine as long as you drive it and the water drains out”
  5. Water trapped and dripping from pinch seam.

Update: So far I’ve been to two different local Jeep dealerships. Both have conducted leak test that show the drains and seals to be good. One dealership claimed it was “normal” for the vehicle to retain “some water”. And the other says it’s nothing they are able to address in their shop and...
  6. Water trapped and dripping from pinch seam.

I’m at a bit of a loss trying to figure out what’s going on. Recently I’ve noticed that water is getting trapped somewhere in the body of my Wrangler JLU. After any rain, going through the car wash, etc. Water will drip from the front drivers side pinch seam, sometimes even days after it’s...
  7. Head gasket leak at 8000 miles.

Hopefully it’s just the head gasket. My issue was finally fixed. If I recall, it was believed to be a hairline fracture in the cylinder head? They were never able to visualize diagnosis it. Anyway, they ended up replacing the gaskets, cylinder head cover and whatever else and it’s been fine...
  8. Rentals for warranty work?

Hopefully you have better luck than me. It’s been 3 weeks since I paid out of pocket for a rental and Jeepcares “promise for prompt reimbursement”. Needless to say that I still haven’t been reimbursed. Jeepcares customer service is a joke.
  9. Possible rear bushing issue? 21 Jeep JL.

thank you, I’ll try and see if I can manage that this weekend weather permitting. Any idea where I’d get a list manufacturer's specification for what everything should be torqued to? I have a feeling that given this vehicles track record I’m gonna have to get real handy turning a wrench.
  10. Possible rear bushing issue? 21 Jeep JL.

I’ve been having zero luck in getting multiple local Jeep Dealerships to diagnosis an ongoing suspension squeak from my 21 JL’s driver’s side suspension. Only seems to occur when 1. It’s under 30 degrees outside 2. Going off / over a significant bump. Of course, I’ve been told “it’s normal cold...
  11. Steering wheel creak?

I have the same issue with my 2021 JL. Had it “fixed” at the dealership once already. Their fix was to spray some silicone spray. Came back even worse a few months later. It will be going back to the dealer next week for this as well as an persistent oil leak issue.
  12. Head gasket leak at 8000 miles.

Unfortunately it’s 4 attempts within 2 years 18k miles in my state. Or 30 days total of the vehicle being in the shop. But its definitely important going into these situations knowing what legal rights you have and documenting everything. Dates/times/names etc.
  13. Head gasket leak at 8000 miles.

I never got a satisfactory answer to this. The leak was near the cylinder head bolt to the driver’s side rear if that makes sense. They were only able to figure out exactly where after adding dye. So they saw it was leaking from up high, and right around where the head gasket is at that DS back...
  14. Head gasket leak at 8000 miles.

After 2 failed attempts to repair at the dealership that I purchased the vehicle from I took it elsewhere. On a side note, the first dealership also made sure to add 7 quarts of oil to an engine designed to hold 5.8? On its first oil change. So I had zero confidence left in them. Now 3 repair...
  15. Head gasket leak at 8000 miles.

None that I have notice. To be fair, it’s an incredibly slow leak. Oil level hadn’t changed noticeably and there was no pooling underneath the car. Only noticed it because I was underneath my Jeep. I believe they dealership confirmed it was an external leak, but not sure how if the never took...
  16. Head gasket leak at 8000 miles.

Thanks for the input. I spoke with my trusted family mechanic about this situation this morning. He’s been repairing just about anything on 4 wheels you can think of for the past 36 years. His thoughts were this. 1. You can’t re-torque those bolts and accomplish what they’re trying. They would...
  17. Head gasket leak at 8000 miles.

Took my new 2021 Wrangler JL Sport S to the dealer I purchased it from 5 months ago after noticing a small oil leak underneath the vehicle. The dealer ran a dye test, and pinpointed it to a small head gasket leak. The recommended course of action was to re-torque the cylinder head bolts and see...
