Mopar 3 piece steel bumper, skid plate, and brackets $800. Pulling off my Gladiator in Birmingham today, truck was mechanically totaled. Also posted on the gladiator forum.
Lol yes there’s a USB in the center console and one in the dash, I don’t like stuff permanently hanging off the dash so I hardwired for cord management.
The wireless adapter I have in my center console USB. the Charging pad I have wired into the accessory port with a connector I used to wire up my CB. Its a pigtail off the ports connector in the dash so nothing is spliced.
One of these the car play
One of these for the wireless charging.
I ordered a new rubber pad that goes in the opening under the window switches and trimmed part of it off that angled up so the pad sits flush, then gorilla glued the charging pad to the new mat so it clips into the dash and...
Does anyone think they would charge less without those tiny Easter eggs? My guess is every vehicle is priced at the max the market analysts think they can charge. If it costs $1 to build and the market will pay $1000 guess what? They will charge $1000. If it cost 50k to make and they...
wow, I got banned on the Gladiator forum for a month for talking "politics" about California wild fires. Guess rules aren't applied equally to Canada lol. Much love for Canada here, but to answer your question without offending the almighty Jay (hopefully), no Austin isn't Texas lol.
How did you come by the 7inch radio? If you bought it from the dealer I think it should be covered. 3rd party is another issue. They seem to be overly assholes at the same time though with charging you for the rental car and diag. Don't ever pay a dime at a dealer you dint pre-approve. In...
Oh I’m doubting they say you should, I simply never have and never will. Yet to have a single problem with any vehicle I had (knock on wood). I personally think they remedied this problem years ago but people still teach it.
Anyone with an auto actually use the E brake? I have never one time set the parking brake in any auto I've owned. I leave the manuals in gear, but if the park pin fails in my auto I just see that as what insurance is for. Such an insanely small chance of it being an issue.
Proximity locks are by far my most useful mod, if you don’t order them I highly recommend retrofitting them. Only a couple hundred bucks to add and change the whole experience. Being able to never have to pull out the fob is wonderful.
I have an amp but its only powering the Sub. I'm sure my combat ears don't help the situation but I haven't had that issue on other vehicles. I'll probably learn to live with it, I still love the Jeep and its tolerable after adding the sub. Before it was just sad.
I added both for about $140 so that doesn't bother me. Now what I really wish they did was make it louder. I have replaced all my speakers with larger premium ones, and added a sub and it still is on 38 the entire time I drive. past 19 there's barely a damn change to my ears. Doesn't help...
Maybe I'm the only one here that drove nothing but Fords before my Jeep yet cant for the life of me like the Branco. I really want to, but it just doesn't seem to have a soul if you know what I mean. I'm not impressed they improved on Jeeps weaknesses, it would be strange if they didn't. The...
Well to be fair the Gladiator is a 4 door lol. I don’t think it’s hijacking the thread to say the original Jeep wasn’t a Wrangler. If I had enough money I’d own a 2 door Wrangler, and a Willy’s.
Agreed, but they aren’t the same. Would you walk up to a Willy’s owner and say nice Wrangler? I know I wouldn’t. Isn’t part of the fun of the brand knowing all the model designations and names? The Gladiator evolved from the Wrangler, I sure as hell wouldn’t say the Easter eggs were Gladiators.
