Yes Sydney. I installed myself. It has some scratches on the bottom but doesn't seem so bad.
I have had issues, both the fuel pump and fuel level sender broke, but they were very helpful and sent replacements right away.
Biggest problem was replacing them meant almost taking the whole thing...
I have the AEV lift, from the looks of it, the AEV lift only has the extra caster correction brackets. I believe the brackets are only needed for 2.5" and above. Mine would pull to the left a little, and I ended up removing my caster brackets and installing adjustable everything. Now it just...
I done mine in the JL Rubicon, called up Jeep for part numbers, and ordered them from RockAuto. Came in a few days time.
These were the part numbers for my JLU (and prices I got quoted from Jeep):
Rear brake pads (disc): $862.00 (68386838AB)
Front brake pads (disc): $892.50 (68456066AB)...
I got this one https://doubleblackoffroad.com/products/teraflex-steering-stabilizer-relocation-bracket-kit-jk
I used the aev stabiliser from the usa. There was an issue shipping it from aev direct via a redirector to Australia because it is a gas strut (never had an issue from quadratec for...
Nobody any good here. Most just get from overseas, widest range and lowest prices. Just realise shipping is pricey.
Quadratec imo is best but always use PayPal if you ever need to cancel/refund your order.
Here is the list for my Stryker bar. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/948184952545170
I like the look of it, went for the AEV in the end to get the fuel caddy. But now I also got the extended fuel tank underneath. In hindsight I'd have put on the stryker and used the bottom fuel...
When I purchased mine the price was in the contract. When it got delivered 8 or so months later the prices have all gone up, but I paid what was on the contract. Maybe they changed the contracts now?
Our EV charging system is different to the US one. You'll have to get an adapter for AC to plug into your jeep we use a different one for EVs, and not sure if even they will work because we run on 240.
DC fast charging has a different adapter too. And not sure if there are adapter to convert...
I got the RAZR 315/70's on mine, they should measure roughly 35", or slightly less, but when I measured they were 33.5". So in theory that wouldn't need any certification? Do the cops go off the numbers, or the actual size?
Never thought about the better handling with the brackets.. good point
I've never hit them on any trails, so they have been pretty good imo. Might have to keep them which will make for an easier install to just stick with the OEM arm lengths.
I installed the AEV 2.5" lift, and it comes with geometry correction brackets.
I now have got some new (adjustable) upper and lower control arms ready to be installed. Should I remove the geometry correction brackets, and just install the new control arms?
Also, any suggestions on how to...
