I laughā¦ not at you, but because this is definitely a dream. Iād be all in on one. I wished they would actually let us customize an order. Instead of you pick this trim, and here is the gears you get, or you picked that so you have to have thisā¦
In reality it comes down to how the assembly...
For those that keep stating the update is for the emergency vehicles alert. I donāt believe thatās correct. Iāve been getting that for over a year.
I have a ā21 Rubicon with the 8.4 and no updates to my knowledge unless it updated itself in the background. Iād have to do some playing around with things to verify. Only issue Iāve had with my system is the way button icons haphazardly relocate themselves on the pages.
@rcadden you shouldnāt...
Our 5.5 month old baby is going to keep us home a bit more this year. We took it home last year and then did that Jeep Jamboree out in Wyoming at the end of August. I do NOT WFHā¦ lol so this is my daily.
@rcadden - Man youāre not far off what I have for mileageā¦. Being we bought on the same day lolā¦. 19,300 miles currently, but @ ~2,300 miles I had one good sized rock nail my windshield. It was just below where the stuff for the adaptive cruise isā¦ luckily it never cracked.
haha those are bright AF! š I was trying to decide on clear or yellow. Iāve looked at the BD SP, but have also been eyeing the KC FE4.
@BUSHRVN how are the clear lenses? Do you have any pics?
Iāve got the same issue, my only fix so far is a Bungee cord stretching across from door to door.. š. I tried to adjust mine, but out of the box they were adjusted to max. If I go the other way then they donāt seal at all. Took it to one of my local dealers, techs answer- wait for itā¦...
Came across this post while trying to figure out the same question. I found my answer on the order guides posted on here, albeit those were about as clear as mud. From what I have gathered this is what I came up with.
Iām sure someone can clarify or add to this.
For 2021 and 2022 JL/JLU...
Yeah, it took my brain a few seconds to process how they had that set up. Itās actually pretty simple once you get your mind wrapped around it. However, they just donāt have enough adjustment to correct the issue. I noticed on one of the doors the sharp edge of the door receptacle shaved off...
The hinges are good. Matter of fact I only had to adjust one of the doors right out of the box. My uppers have a wobble to them when installed. I blame it on the poor design.
I mean who thought it would be a good design to slide a plastic piece into a square hole with sharp edges. Also why...
Yes extremely noticeable, and yes I tried to adjust the legs. Adjustment made zero difference and actually there was little room to adjust. The two fronts were nearly at the end of their adjustment already.
Couple pics from a video I did. The one pic is closed the other is as it flaps in the...
@FunWagon do you have any issues with your uppers flexing outward at speeds over 50mph? Mine are terrible! I have resorted to using bungee cords stretched across the top portion holding the top of the uppers tighter. Dealership took a look at it and their response was to āreinstall the full...
It depends on how tall you are. My wife is roughly 5ā4ā and it was just enough room for her. We had a 9 hr drive, and it worked. Iām also on the short side at 5ā7ā. Any taller and Iād been too uncomfortable. If you take the time, you could possibly move some stuff around to make more room...
I can finally answer this. The half doors are noisy as expected. At least for me, they are no different than any set of half doors have been throughout time. Lol. After 60 plus mph the fronts suck out and you get a gap. Itās not a large gap, but large enough for extra wind noise.
It may just be...
