I love my 2021 Wrangler Unlimited Sport Altitude diesel. First ever Jeep and first ever diesel and for the most part, couldn't be happier with it. Only problems I've had, more than once, is NoX sensors going bad. Got another CEL right now for code P225D and it would be the 3rd NoX sensor in that...
Excellent, thanks. I work at home, so I don't pile up many miles. In fact, the last time i had a NOX sensor replace, <3 months ago, I was told it was because i wasn't giving the diesel enough driving time. Maybe some truth to that but i've never heard of a part failing because it wasn't used enough.
Thanks! Was he able to answer questions about coverage, etc.? From what i've read, i'm not sure things like O2 sensors and such are covered. I did discover that my diesel is covered, by Federal law, for 8 years or 80k miles for NOX sensors and other diesel-related parts.
Thanks! Did you purchase from Mopar if I may ask? I have noted that some parts are already warrantied up to 8 years or 80k miles, such as NOX sensors, etc., which is about the only thing I've had to have replace at this point (a couple of times).
Has anyone else with the diesel engine had ongoing CELs for NOX sensors? My 2021 Wrangler, with only ~14,000 miles, has now had its third CEL for a P0133 code. This just occurred previously in June and was fixed, but this time the 'fix' lasted not even three months.
Anyone else have such...
On the flip side, I haven't done the software recall thing, but have the light. Mine has gone off once or twice too, but eventually comes back. The whole time, it runs just fine as far as I can tell.
I still find it hard to believe it's taking that long to get parts though.
Mine was P0133, 02 sensor 1/1 Slow Response and P1286, NOx sensor 1/1 Zero Offset Too High. Mine drives fine too. My dealer said the sensor is supposed to be here at the end of August, but I was told the same thing about May, June and July. Good luck!
Anyone else experiencing a complete inability to get a NOX sensor replaced? I had a CEL starting 3+ months ago and the dealer said a NOX sensor had to be replaced and that was 3 months ago. I know supply chain issues abound, but 3 months to get a sensor? And there are none to be had in all of...
My EcoDiesel came with the heavy duty brakes, which I think are standard for the diesel, but I don't know that's absolutely true. From what I've read, most elements are beefed up for the diesel like the motor mounts, transmission, etc.
My first Jeep and my first diesel and I love the combination!
I went with the OEM Rubicon stubby on my Sport Altitude, Warn winch plate and Quadratec 10k lbs with synthetic rope and sprung for a Factor 55 FlatLink. Did the installs myself and while not easy (I'm no mechanic), I was successful. Part of the fun of having a Jeep (my first too) is getting to...
