Fantastic, and I’m always on the move, so leaving it parked waiting for parts would be horrible. So that is what was causing the leaks pictured above? Mine is very minor, but oil collecting in that very spot

What ever happened with this leak? I just discovered the same oil on transmission, and I’m supposed to leave in 2 days for a huge trip!!

I spoke with two 2021 Gladiator owners yesterday. One was a Mojave and the other a Rubicon. Neither of them have the grinding noise we are all experiencing. Since most everything from the drivers seat forward is the same, I find this very interesting. It appears to be a Wrangler only problem.

Well its good to hear its not an actual mechanical grinding, and just the nannies. Hopefully jeep can just come out with a software update to correct it. However we still need to bug them with bringing the jeeps in for the noise to force the correction.

5) Engine option? probably a good question too. for #3, I've never used that offroad + button, so I doubt that is it. And #4, the answer is yes, 2021 is the first year for it in Wranglers, but 2020 Gladiators have it.

That's interesting. Mine is very consistent, every time I turn in 4 lo it does it. 100%

I tried lots of different things this past weekend. No matter what I tried, I was able to duplicate the noise every time. 4lo to N to 4 lo, didn't change anything, it still made the noise

The video doesn't fully relay the spine tingling grinding noise, or the awful feeling in the steering wheel while it happens

I have friend with a 2020 diesel Rubicon, and another with a 2020 3.6 auto Rubicon. neither of their jeeps make the noise. very possible a problem with the off road+, but then you'd think the gladiators would have this problem too. I've yet to hear of a gladiator doing it.

Are there any confirmed cases in a 2020 Model? I'm curious if its a new issue for us 2021 owners. I've driven a couple 2020 JLUR that do not make the noise. I'm also curious if its only on Rubicons?

I haven't tried that, but did read that. I'm going out tomorrow and plan on attempting it. I'll post how it goes.
