Ahh, but that would mean I’d have to acquire taps and learn how to use them.

So it looks like the issue with mine is the set screw hole drilled though the shifter shaft isn’t threaded. It’s just a smooth hole and there is no way the set screw will ever thread in there. So now I have to initiate a return and wait for a replacement before I can finished the job 😡

How the Hell did you thread the shift level set screw? The hole drilled through the B&M Shift lever seems too damn small to even start threading the screw. I'm stuck.

I have a 2018 JLU with the 8.4" display. This happens to me anytime the interior gets too moist. If I leave the top down over night and the dew point is high, for example. Or if the top is down and it gets foggy. Seems like a common issue.
