    I had this same problem, it developed into a hard grind due to a bad synchro in 2nd. I have a whole new transmission coming under warranty.

    I'm finding I care more about uptravel than having the optimal aesthetic ride height. Part of the reason I made this post is because people with 35s just modify their bumps and call it a day. It kills travel and I wanted to see what others are doing, but every lift is aftertised with 37s.

    Before I bought my JL I wanted a TJ and thought rubicon express was the crispiest setup available. I may have just ditched the 20yr old bias and get right with a better setup if they have fallen off the game.
