So I have the Sunrider. It leaks a lot in my driveway, as it is a pretty steep angle. @Bestop sent me Door Rial Foam part 526.72P.
Does anyone have pics or instructions on where the pieces of foam go? It’s six separate pieces of foam.
I can probably sort it out if I remove the top, I was just...
The trip was a bummer. Second night there my wife ate something that made her extremely ill. We drove home the next morning. Never took the Jeep off pavement. Might head back out toward Death Valley this fall. if we do, the plan is to stay here: https://homewoodcabin.com/cabin-rentals.php
34 foot pounds.
Yes, I am an idiot. I should have stopped when I was thinking, “this seems like a lot of arm strength for 34 pounds”
about the time I thought that, snap.
So I swapped out the rear diff cover yesterday. All was going well aside of a failed torque wrench. I overtightened a bolt and it snapped. I was fortunate enough that I was able to back out the broken end.
When I put another bolt in and tighten, I starts to get tight and slips a little. So the...
Bought a JTops Bikini Sunshade. It works great. I love it. It’s fantastic.
my wife hates having the tops off. So they never come off. No point in keeping something that has been used once since installation.
It fits great. It blocks a lot of the sun. It’s really
I paid $166 shipped. It’s in...
Taking a guy from work out to Broken Arrow tomorrow. Pretty easy trail, if you pick easy lines. You can make it more challenging by picking harder lines.
After Broken Arrow, I’ll take him down the bad sections of FR 9513. Still pretty easy, but more challenging if you pick hard lines.
The part I think is stupid about the BOH system, is for example Schnebly Hill is a badge. Broken Arrow is not. You can drive Schnebly Hill in a Subaru. If you can tolerate a shitty road for a couple hours, woo hoo, you made it.
Broken Arrow has a few technical spots, and is a more difficult...
Sorry for the late reply. It has been two record sales days at work in a row. Quite busy, which is great!
Thank you to all who answered with an explanation to my question. Being that this is a daily driver and sees a whopping 30 miles a week as a DD, and as a weekend off roster it sees over 100...
So we are looking at lifting the JLUR in the nearish future. I am looking at a few different lifts like the RK 2.5“ X-Factor, the Metal Cloak Game Changer 2.5” and the Teraflex 2.5” Alpine CT2.
My wife asked what the advantage over the Mopar 2” lift these systems have. I didn’t have a really...
This was last weekend, but I just got around to making the video today. Pretty fun trip out FR9513.
Credit to my wife as the photographer and videographer. She’s pretty darn amazing.
Quite happy with them. They bolted up very nicely. No having to get a pry bar and try to torque something to fit, no wallowing out holes to make the bolts work. Everything just went together perfectly.
First time we hit some rocks, the Jeep glided right over. No problems. Minor scratches, they...
