Yeah for real. I just couldn’t take it anymore. The 4:88’s was driving me nuts. Was tired of the downshifts, and the car felt heavy. Now I love the car again. Yesterday I drove all the way home on 8th gear. With the 4:88’s I would be between 6th -8th, in and out

Posted a couple months back that I gotten 4:88’s, well I ended up regretting it and now I have 5:13. Night and day. Best thing about 5:13 is that it just hold the gears stronger. 4:88’s was struggling to hold even 6th gear on a slight hill. Smh .. 5:13 would keep that same gear and hold it strong

Def a good decision. I have no issues with these gears whatsoever

Just got 4:88’s and in the break-In period. My first impressions is it shifts way better and faster than 4.10s. Other than the shifting change you pretty much just go up one gear. Meaning when ur usually at 5th, now you’re at 6th, usually at 7th, now your at 8th. Also it hold the gears stronger...

I read this whole thread and the only issue I have is with ppl saying a heavy Jeep on 4:88’s can’t hold on to 8th gear for a long time. Stop lying. Please don’t comment on anything you don’t have a personal experience with. It holds it perfectly

Also downshifting to 4th gear (for passing speed) on 4:88’s is a good thing. Simply because it will quickly shift to 5th and that creates that passing power. Downshifting from 5th is not so good. (5:13’s). When u downshift to 5th it takes longer to get to 6th, and u wouldn’t get that instant...
