I have 50k miles with the aluminum front and no complaints. No hardcore crawling but it’s winched me a few times and scraped through a few tight spots. The powder coat has held up well so far
I debated the LOD, but ended up with the Barricade aluminum to save the weight. 100% happy with it especially after the super simple winch install. similar open winch area look to the LOD though...
worth a watch on brake/hub/rotor maintenance
when I went to 35's, I got a 3' pry bar that was a game changer for re-mounting tires. roll the tire on top and a quick easy lift to stick in on the lugs. YMMV ofc (:
realizing I stuck this in the wrong place so.... it was also the first shakedown run for the recent lift. Rancho 3" with their RS9000's and geometry correction brackets. I'll run it a bit before deciding if it needs more steering helps. I was surprised that everything still feels really solid...
added some storage up top. big enough to fit the awkward sized reclining camp chairs that I can’t travel without (:
bolted on and weather sealed. box is only so-so secure but found it way cheap…

new Toyo AT3's from @Discount Tire wrapped over some @fifteen52 rims. now anxious for a couple warm days to get it lifted a bit, cause it doesn't fit in the garage...
if anyone has a rear bumper suggestion with decent pull points that'll accommodate the bigger spare a bit better. just a...
A foodie side trip suggestion is swinging your route through Veyo for 'best pies in the state'. They are pretty legit and some great scenic drives out that direction including the Mojave Desert Joshua Tree Backway.
Great thread ! adding a couple of my fav's for routines I didn't see mentioned:
- P&S Brake Buster for wheels and brake dust with a long handle brush to reach inside those rims
- Shine Supply clutch for wheel wells and liners to keep them slick and easy to clean (useless on anything other than...
Solid choice and Ty for the thread topic. Really interesting to see everyone’s take on credit, Cash, etc.… Amex blue preferred is one of my fav cards (6% back on groceries easily pays for the fee in my household). I never make any purchase that isn’t on a credit card (if possible) and take a...
