yeah, when the dealer isn't sure or confident that makes it hard! Do you have any other dealers around you could go to?
There is definitely a ton of misinformation out there and your right being safe rather than sorry!
Have your dealer install the Mopar lift and it keeps its warranty. There are a ton of things that can be done and keep your warranty - sometimes you do have to pay more and go through the dealer to keep your warranty in place.
People have changed - COVID changed how everyone views everything. The vehicle they drive, the hobbies they have, how they spend money and even the meaning of life. Jeep culture has changed over the course of every model. When they stopped making CJ's they lost some of their current customer...
Sorry that my opinion seems to hurt your feelings.
Not sure what about my post you are trying to pick apart. I explained why (again) in my opinion there is a difference in buying and modding today rather than when the JK was on the market.
Also - my "flexing" is just pointing out that I see...
there are several dealers who will regear for you and you keep your existing warranty. Just an idea. Will save you some money over new axles to keep your warranty.
Ride is good - no difference in feel or drive going from the stock 35 that came with the XR package to the 37. Nitto is a much better quality tire - I run them on all my other builds and currently run a 40" Nitto Trail Grappler on my JTR.
No rubbing, no issues what so ever. The XR package...
Those fender liners are so cheap they get soft on any powertrain sitting outside in 90+ degree or direct sun for to long. I am pretty sure they are made at the same factory Wal-Mart plastic bags are made.
I have confirmed the XR is not coming back to the 392. I have a 22' 392 XR set up with 37's, 70lb. winch and bull bar and haven't had any issues with bump stops.
I don't have any current explanation on why the removed the XR option from the 392 but I would guess it has more to do with the...
So you think the stock 392 Rubicon comes with smaller tires than the non 392 Rubicon? It does not. They both come standard with 33" tires unless you order the XR package.
Yes, that would be nice for sure. Or even more detail on the 392 package in their advertising. The 392 has a hardier spring which is why some are saying it sits an 1.5 over a stock "unlifted Rubicon". However a stock unlifted Rubicon already sits an inch plus taller and has different...
Incorrect. I parked my 392 next to a non XR 392. Mine sat well over an inch taller. The tires compensate for 1" in height which doesn't factor in to the 1.5" lift with the XR package.
We have enough fake news in the world as it is.
Hmm....not sure whats not a TRUE about that on the 392. The one sitting in my garage sure is though.
My stock 22' 392 XR on 37s. Sits level with my 2020 sport with 4" lift and 35's. Sits almost 4 inches higher than any stock Rubicon on the lot. But you MUST be right?!
