  2. Planning a 1 Year Overland of North America

dstefevens asks some good questions ā˜šŸ¼ Iā€™d go with a live in system on a full size or gladiator/camper at minimum. Something like an OEV or Scout or FWC on a full sized would be most comfortable (or van if thatā€™s your thing). I really like my Alucab canopy camper on my Taco & the Gladiator...
  3. Should Jeep make the Super Unlimited?

if Jeep makes something like the Overlook or Africa concept I think it will sell well. iā€™d bet itā€™s already in the works. the overland market keeps growing and it provides options for that segment or bigger families. not everyone (most?) wheels their Jeep and those that do go harder can...
  4. 2023 Earl JLURD AEV JL370 Build

I donā€™t have any problem putting it back- it just needs to be in the range of the super strong magnetic. If anything it takes a little effort pulling it off lol. Iā€™ve had clips before that require too much eye diversion and not a fan. *also updated/fixed broken link.
  5. 2023 Earl JLURD AEV JL370 Build

congratulations and looking forward to the build! that color will look good built- especially with some AEV goodnessšŸ‘Œ for your GMRS- hereā€™s an option that worked for me. maybe some parts may work for you. I use a Carolina Metal Masters grab ball mount connected to 67 Designs carbon arm to...

Just wondering if this rack might be coming for the JL? Thanks
  9. Wrangler as an Overland Vehicle

been using Wranglers as an overland platform in the northeast & southeast starting with an early JK. Iā€™ve never come close to running out of gas- just takes a little planning. plus a full sized truck wouldnā€™t fit down a decent amount of the technical trails we hit.
  10. 37KO's

    iā€™m running 37 KO2s/3.6 and itā€™s totally fine
  11. LED Lighting Group on a Rubicon - worth it?

theyā€™re worth it to me. Iā€™ve had to upgrade previous Jeep lighting and I think these are really solid. theyā€™re better than the my last aftermarket LEDs in my JK (JW Speaker LEDs). honestly itā€™s the first Jeep Iā€™ve had that auxiliary lighting hasnā€™t been an immediate need.
  12. So I want to mount a chainsaw….

I have a Dewalt electric saw thatā€™s saved my bacon numerous times in VT on class IVs. downside is that it always leaks (even in the garage) so im thinking more about outside storage. sounds like a tire mounted solution might work for you and use a case to protect it from the elements (&...
  13. Anyone fold down their windshield?

  15. Revealed: Custom SEMA 2021 Jeeps - 4xe concept, Overlook 3-row concept, Kaiser M725 concept

digging the Overlook- looks like a possible stepping stone to the Africa concept. only major dislike is the rear area above the window. Iā€™d rock it as an overland, light wheeling rig. Delete 2nd & 3rd row seats and Goose Gear it out.
  16. Jeep Concepts Teased Ahead of SEMA 2021

tangent: think we might see a 4xe TRX
  17. Is open Jeep a dying art?
